"Beautiful area and amazing views. No food available within 30 minutes. Thankfully we stocked up before we got there. Road to the property was often narrow and single track. We got the instructions on how to check in the morning after we arrived. Fortunately we figured it out. The house was comfortable and very clean. This is a great house for a peaceful stay. "The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Uig Hotel was excellent. We had a lodge room on the first floor. It had a very large window so you can make the most of the amazing view The staff were great, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had our dog with us so ate breakfast and dinner in the bar. The food was really good -with a good selection of fresh sea food."

"Lovely location. Walking distance to the Stein Inn and also a nice walk through the hills to the other side of the Loch further down the road past the Yurt coffee shop which was also lovely. Portree was also not too far a drive away Cottage had everything required. Lovely burner which we had on which warmed the place up well.Garden space for the dogs was good.Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Skye what a beautiful place.Would definitely stay in the cottage again no complaints whatsoever.Highly recommend a boat trip also which we did from Portree seeing the sea eagles golden eagles and also seals."
