Picturesque but could do with a few small changes

The hotel is far from the port but the hotel offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off. The location is secluded but beautiful. Hard to get around without a bike, scooter or car. They have a sister hotel with a nice pool which you can visit. The room was small the single bed was tiny. Not extremely comfortable but fine for one night. The breakfast wasn’t labelled so I struggled as a vegetarian.

Hotel delle cave: una bellissima realtà

Una settimana con la mia compagna: Favignana è fantastica e anche questo Hotel è stato all'altezza. Silenzio, confort, ospitalità, disponibilità: tutto questo e altro ancora. consigliato a chi vuole visitare l'isola, restando lontano dalla (poca) confusione.

Fantastic

Stayed for one night on the island. The hotel was clean, spacious and the room was nice. (the shower was really cool). I would recommend the place as the staff were super friendly, an excellent breakfast. It is a 30 min walk back to the main town so I would hire a bicycle or taxi to get there.

Soggiornare in una cava di tufo

Hotel situato all'interno di un 'area di una ex cava di tufo distante dal porto circa 2 km e vicino alle cale più rinomate dell'isola. Posto tranquillo e dotato di ogni tipo di comfort collegato con hotel cave bianche che dispone anche di una piscina. Il servizio navetta con il centro è impeccabile così come la reception, la colazione è discreta. Possibilità di noleggio di scooter o bici

Vacanza estiva in alta stagione, rapporto qualità prezzo tutto sommato buono (anche se un po’ alto rispetto alla qualità complessiva). location suggestiva perché molto tipica del favonio. Edificio e zona giardino belle e ben curate. Camere spaziose, peccato mancasse un po’ di cura dei dettagli interni (macchie indelebili su lenzuola e copriletti, sicuramente puliti ma datati, armadi con strutture un po’ partcolari e non ben fruibili). Colazione buona e abbondante dolce e salata, personale di reception molto disponibile e d’aiuto per l’organizzazione di spostamenti ed escursioni. Buona posizione rispetto a quanto può offrire l’isola sia per il mare che per la vicinanza al centro. Pecca: il sistema wifi. Nelle camere poste nei piani inferiori il telefono non prende (comprensibile vista la struttura), ma necessario ottimizzare il sistema wifi con qualità migliore e password accessibili e non doversi ricordare quotidianamente di chiedere.

Sistemazione carina fuori da centro abitato

La location dell’albergo è molto suggestiva all’interno di una cava. La struttura è un po’ sparatana, ma nuova e pulita. Molto carino il giardino con due jacuzzi a disposizione degli ospiti. Contatti diretti per noleggio bici, scooter, gommoni ecc. Colazione ricca e personale di sala cortese. Check-in sommario e poco accogliente senza alcuna indicazione. Frigobar in camera. Necessario un mezzo per muoversi.

Nice place for couples.

The place is nice, clean and the stuff is friendly. The grounds are very interesting and taken care of. It is about 3Km (2 miles) from town so if you need some transportation the hotel offers a shuttle that needs to be arranged for at the desk. You'll be better off with a scooter, a small car or a bicycle. We had a room on the same level as the reception, so at times we could hear a conversation at the check-in desk, but it was very quiet in the evenings. AC and WiFi were working, and there was a small refrigerator in room. Room furnishing was however very spartan with no cabinets or drawers but only two shelves. We ended up leaving our open suitcases on the floor. We had opted for the Half Board package (mezza pensione......which included breakfast and dinner) as we thought that after spending all day visiting the island it would have been nice just to stay put and relax at the dinner table without having to go to town about 3km out. We didn't like the HB package at all. At dinner you can only choose menu items marked with HB, anything else is extra. Reality was that with the HB plan you are supposed to eat three courses and if you don’t, well, too bad…you still pay and anything else is extra. This plan was not cheap at all at 35 euros per person. And in the end every meal ended-up costing us an average of 17 additional euros, for a total of (35 x2) + 17 = 87 euros.....just around $100.00.We would have been better off without the HB plan, selecting dinner items a la carte

potrei scrivere fiumi di parole positive. mi limiterò a dire semplicemente Ottimo, dalla camera alla zona relax con jacuzi, dalla particolarità della location letteralmente "immersa" in una cava di pietra, al meraviglioso buffet mattutino della colazione. ultimo non per importanza, anzi forse la cosa più determinante, l'incredibile cortesi non plastica, non schematica, non forzata, ma genuina e spontanea di tutto il personale dell'albergo. mi sono sentito coccolato, assistito nei transfert, nello scoprire l'isola, nella scelta di ristoranti calette e percorsi. Assolutamente consigliato a chiunque, un 3 stelle che profuma di molto di più. sono stato in 3 stelle che al confronto ne meriterebbero 1a.

Ein schöner Urlaub!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Hotel delle Cave. Nettes und engagierte Angestellte, die einem gerne Tipps und Ideen für Aktivitäten auf der Insel gaben. Vor Ort war es auch möglich Räder und Roller zu mieten, guter Service, es hatte alle super geklappt. Wir hatten außerdem ein Zimmer im Oberenstockwerk mit Blick aufs Meer, es war schön damit morgens auf zu wachen! Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel

L'hotel e' a 5' di bicicletta dal centro. Bici a noleggio per 4€ al gg. Consiglio motorino perche' la strada e' priva di illuminazione quindi la sera e' un po' buio. Hotel fantastico Colazione super (ogni giorno dolci fatti a mano del posto) No piscina tuttavia spiaggetta particolare a 5' di bicicletta

Hyggeligt design-hotel.

Hotellet var virkelig lækkert indrettet, men på den hyggelige måde. Eneste minus var, at det ligger et par kilometer fra Favignana by, men man kan leje cykler overalt både i byen og på hotellet, så det er ikke noget problem.

Das Hotel beeindruckt besonders außen durch die Anlage und innen durch die Zimmerausstattung. Man ist mit Rad/Roller in 5-10 Minuten im Ort oder an wunderbaren Stränden (wobei der Verleihservice nicht sehr zuverlässig arbeitet). Das Frühstück ist umfangreich. Der Whirlpool macht Spaß. Aber man muss auch sehen, dass es nur ein *** Hotel ist, und das passt auch sehr gut - nicht mehr und nicht weniger.
