"We had an amazing 5 nights at the Anjiamarango. Our bungalow overlooking the sea was just idyllic- we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The lovely cleaning ladies kept it immaculately clean too. All the staff are kind & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We just loved how peaceful it was, the beach was long and perfect for early morning beach walks. Lots of Chameleons around in the trees too which we loved spotting. The food was mostly good, we found the portions to be double the size they needed to be, we hate food waste but we just couldn’t eat the massive portions! All transfers & trips were organised perfectly by the hotel & meant we could just really relax! Thanks Phillipe & team - we hope to return one day! Dominic, Becky & Florence "

"Pleasant rooftop restaurant and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it. There was an electrical panel just outside the louvered door by the bed, and some circuit on the panel beeped incessantly. It would not have been possible to sleep without earplugs. Shower was spacious and provided multiple showerhead options, but there was nowhere to hang a towel in or near the shower room. Nor was there anywhere to set a bar of soap or bottle of shampoo. The space could be made more functional with the addition of a small shelf, two wall hooks, and an A/C unit in the second sleeping room."

"Absolutely incredible experience! It’s so clean and the rooms are stunning with the best view. The dinner was delicious and so was the breakfast! And there are no words for how wonderful the staff are. There English is amazing! The classes are definitely working and they went out of their way to ensure you had an amazing time and had everything you needed. As a solo female traveler this is one of the best places I have stayed! "

"The had the most amazing time at Voi Amarina resort. It’s like a little paradise on earth. The staff was great, especially Samuela the front of house manager, she assisted us with all the requests. "What can I say? WONDERFUL! Teresa and Pino have truly built a little paradise. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and everything was just perfect. Our flight was rescheduled and everyone was so kind to arrange a late-night transfer for us, give us the room early to rest, and even offer breakfast. The staff is simply amazing. The food was excellent — Teresa is an incredible cook — and Pino kept us company with many fascinating stories about the place and Madagascar itself. The bungalows are beautiful, equipped with everything essential, and we immediately felt at home. Direct access to the beach and the Lokobe forest behind, where we went on an excursion and saw boas and lemurs — everything was just perfect. In the afternoon, lemurs would come near our bungalow to keep us company — such a unique and magical experience. It was a true oasis of relaxation, exactly what we needed after 20 days on the mainland. We also bought their local Malagasy Rum — it’s something you will never forget, simply EXCELLENT ❤️. And during our stay, we were accompanied by 5 wonderful dogs, which made everything even more special! Finally, thanks to Teresa and her passion for scuba diving, we even got our diving certification! Trust her guidance — it’s a beautiful journey! Thank you again for everything!! 🌺"
