"We fished, kayaked, visited Alexandria’s independent book store and relaxed surrounded by bird sounds. The northern light display soaking in the hot tub pretty much sums it up. "Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place ..."

Perfect for a short stay
"My daughter and I stayed on the bottom floor of the home only. The beds were quite comfy, the shower was great and there afequate room for a short stay. Owner was accessible, but the process was so simple, I really didnt need to contact him much. Very pleased. Thank you, David"
