Pet friendly home in Fårvang with swimming pool

Spacious holiday home with an activity room in a picturesque area near Silkeborg. The house features a large living room with a sofa suite and a dining area. The living room opens directly onto the well-equipped kitchen. There are three large bedrooms – two family bedrooms with a double bed and two bunk beds, and a master bedroom with plenty of space for a baby cot. There is a lovely, spacious bathroom with a two-person whirlpool bath, plus a guest toilet. The activity room is perfect for hours of fun. The large south-west-facing terrace has a ramp, making it easy to access with a pushchair. Outside, there is also a Finnish wooden sauna where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In summer, you have access to a large communal outdoor swimming pool. The pool is open from mid-May until around the end of September. There is also a large, very attractive and well-maintained playground offering something for all ages: a large sandpit with a playhouse for the little ones and challenging climbing and balancing equipment for older children and teenagers. The area offers numerous walking and cycling trails.

You can go fishing in the Gudenåen, and you can also book a canoe for a trip down the river. There are several canoe hire companies, so please check online. Silkeborg is just a short drive away. Aarhus is approximately 50 minutes’ drive from the holiday home, where you’ll find a wide range of cultural experiences and restaurants, from Michelin-starred establishments to affordable street food.
