Stay in one of Falmouth’s most unique homes. The Old Bakery, once Falmouth’s original pasty house, is a beautifully restored historic retreat tucked away in a peaceful lane just moments from the town centre. Dating back nearly 200 years, the property still features its original cast iron bakery ovens, blending Cornish history with modern comfort. Just a one-minute walk from the high street, cafés, restaurants and waterfront, it offers the perfect mix of convenience and quiet seclusion.
The Space:
The Old Bakery combines historic character with modern comfort. The spacious open-plan living and dining area is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring Cornwall, with comfortable seating. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered stay, whether you’re preparing breakfast before heading to the beach or enjoying a cosy evening meal at home.
The house comfortably sleeps six guests across three stylish double bedrooms. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, including one with its own ensuite toilet and basin, while the third offers a comfortable double bed.
The property also benefits from parking for two vehicles — a rare find in central Falmouth — along with beautiful water views stretching across the harbour towards St Mawes. Stylishly finished and thoughtfully designed, the space blends contemporary touches with the building’s original character features.
Whether you’re planning a coastal escape with family or a relaxing getaway with friends, The Old Bakery combines history, location and comfort for a truly memorable Cornish stay.
