About this property
Oak Tree Cottage situated in the peaceful countryside village of Little Snoring
A delightful place to enjoy a relaxing break in the North Norfolk country side. Oak Tree Cottage is situated in the peaceful countryside village of Little Snoring with the spectacular North Norfolk coastline nearby. Explore the old fishing towns and beaches of Wells next the Sea, Sheringham and Cromer. The quaint coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley, with bird reserves and boat trips to the seal colonies. Visit the market towns of Holt and Fakenham, or the stately houses and parkland of Holkham, Blickling and Felbrigg, all a short drive away through the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Locally, there are country walks, a small amenity store, post office and a pub serving food. Oak Tree Cottage offers spacious accommodation with WIFI and benefits from under floor heating throughout downstairs plus two cosy wood burning stoves, and radiators upstairs. A large well maintained garden to the rear with mature flower beds, a vegetable garden, patios, arbour and water feature all to be enjoyed. The garden is fully enclosed so your children and dogs can play safely outside.
To the front of the house there is an ornamented gravel area with seating and driveway parking for one car to one side. A secure space beyond the locked double gates is available for a small boat trailer or bicycles. Additional kerbside parking is available in front of the house.
The front door opens into the hallway with access off to the snug and lounge areas. The snug is a place to spend quiet time, reading or listening to music in front of the wood burning stove. There is a spacious lounge where the whole family can sit watching TV or simply enjoy the relaxing flames from a large wood burning stove. From here you can access the well equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and shower room.
There is a large conservatory to the rear which overlooks the garden and also enjoys the comfort of under floor heating. An area to be used all year round, with double doors leading off to both the snug, lounge and garden areas. A place where you can watch the birds and wildlife that frequent the garden whilst relaxing or dining in comfort.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with king sized beds and views overlooking the garden. The single bedroom has views to the front garden. A family bathroom with bath and shower over is situated at the top of the stairs.

The property was exactly what we needed for our pilgrimage to Walsingham. It felt so homely and was super comfortable. The garden was enormous and caught us by surprise! We'd love to return.
As visiting Australian's, this was our first stop after leaving London. What a delightful cottage! We particularly loved the conservatorium and the beautiful gardens. A great base for exploring the Norfolk region. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely week in the cottage. Our third stay. It has everything needed for a nice restful holiday. Lovely garden and good location. Our dogs had a brilliant time too.
The cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The garden is a safe haven gorgeous and enclosed ideal for pets.
The area has many lovely beaches to visit and also many activities.
I cannot recommend this cottage enough the holiday was a great success
Absolute top place to stay ,very good location , lovely holiday home which is very clean and has everything needed to have an enjoyable stop ,would not hesitate to book here again
The cottage was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. The house itself is wonderful. Beautiful bedrooms, living room and study/snug. The conservatory was a lovely addition where we ate all our meals and enjoyed the weather, and the huge, enclosed garden was the perfect place for our 2 dogs to run around and explore. All in all we had a fantastic stay at Oak Tree Cottage and will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Really nice relaxing place to stay. The dogs loved the enclosed garden. The only minor issue was the staircase which is very steep with a low roof. But overall excellent. Highly recommended.
Stunning property with everything you need. Very peaceful location with ample space for either family meals, games etc or the perfect space to chill out and relax. Garden and conservatory beautiful. Beds very comfortable and the whole place spotlessly clean. Would not hesitate to book again or recommend to others.
Stunning, relaxing, functioning and particularly homely. Stunning garden.
Lication great for the beach, countryy, goKarting, cinema, boat trips, axe throwing, escape room and so many more experiences within easy driving distance.

House was lovely but needed a little TLC. Felt a bit disappointed by its location wasn’t expecting a housing estate. Having said that the garden is outstanding and it was ideally situated for exploring Norfolk.
Get through the front door and everything is lovely.Spacious, superbly equipped and clean. Outdoor space wonderful to sit in and full of interesting features. Many thanks for a super holiday home. TV however difficult to negotiate for non tec oldies!!
Really enjoyed our stay, dogs especially enjoyed the garden, it was beautiful, thank you!
A couple of things that might be helpful for guests with accessibility issues to know, the tread height at the bottom of the stairs is a little uneven with a shallower second step up as well as low clearance on the ceiling going up. We had a less mobile guest we had to be a little careful with going up and down the stairs but it wasn’t a major issue. Also if you’re looking for the shower mats so as to avoid slipping, we eventually found them in the cupboard in the upstairs bathroom. Hope that helps any future guests!
AMAZING stay the garden is absolutely gorgeous with seating areas all around to follow the sun. There are three sitting areas in the house to enable you to sit in a quiet area to read a book. The neighbours appeared friendly and no noise can be heard either in the garden or outside noise in the cottage.
The bedrooms are a good size even the single bedroom.
There is only one wardrobe in the single room ut drawers are available in the double bedroom.
There was lot of flies so sugest that the coservatory doors are not left open when in the garden.
The cottage is in an ideal spot to explore areas of Norfolk.
We have just returned from our stay and have booked again next year.
Absolutely delightful. So comfortable home from home could live there . The garden is a.azing andvits so peaceful. Lovely place for a holiday and a few days break.
