This is a very nice cabin. The owners have been thoughtful about the amenities visitors would need. We had a really great long weekend in Fairplay. We hiked Beavercreek and Pika Trail. We had lunch at Salado and ice cream at silver spoon in Fairplay. The stargazing is great here! Weather was amazing for our stay. Absolutely perfect!

Awesome home and great location. We hated to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was the only discourage event. The only criticism would be the road to the home was very rough and the shower units need antiskid mats or tape. When the floor got wet, it was very slippery.

Our family had a wonderful time "getting away from it all" at the cabin in Fairplay. The cabin is somewhat remote. We enjoyed slowing down and getting away from it all. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is well-stocked and all the rooms (including beds) are comfortable and beautiful. The Beaver Creek trail (a top rated hike on All Trails) is within walking distance of the cabin. The small town of Fairplay is quaint and fun. Salado (a restaurant) is highly recommended. We spent time relaxing, walking, hiking, playing games, making a fire in the wood stove and visiting with our family! Shane was great to work with and we had a great time! Definitely want to come back one day!

We loved our time at the Ski Doo cabin! The cabin was spotless when we stepped in. The bedding is so comfy and inviting. The decor is welcoming and chic. And the touches of having quality wine and cocktail glasses is so nice. When we travel we like to explore during the day and then come home and cook. The kitchen was the best stocked with cutting boards, good knives and quality cookware we have ever stayed in. And our host was quick to reply and provided us with all the information we needed! We loved our time here and hope to be back soon!

We loved this cabin! It is the most beautiful cabin I’ve ever stayed in - every room had been decorated with so much thought and detail. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the cozy wood burning fireplace. The hosts were great to communicate with. We will definitely plan to stay here again if we can!

Beautiful cabin just a 10 minute drive through picturesque terrain to Fairplay. From there we ventured to Breckenridge and Buena Vista and even over to Monarch and it was easy to get around. Cozy spots to read and relax. Beautiful yard and places to walk. All the comforts of a modern home.

Our family of six enjoyed this house/cabin for the Thanksgiving week and it was simply beautiful. Appliances are up to date and clean. Check in process was super easy… just put in the code and you’re in. All my family fell in love with this home and it was actually one of our favorite rentals. Response from owner was very fast and great experience overall. Home decor is just adorable and the location of the rental is ver convenient and enjoyed waking up to such a beautiful surroundings. And my 5 year old son fell in love with the fireplace. Thank you from all my family.

Cabin was great with the exception of some significant things - the air can only be turned up to 70 degrees, (the Nest control is locked) which is too cold when it’s 0 degrees outside. The cabin has a wood burning stove which takes a long time to heat and obviously you have to stay there and keep feeding it - which is fine, but it is still too cold. Attempted to contact owner as he had previously emailed on arrival to “check” on us - no reply once I asked about the air. The entire stay was uncomfortable. Absolutely unacceptable to have a locked air system that you cannot control. Another thing - the listing says Wi-Fi available - you would assume it’s an average connection. No. You can’t do much if anything, with a note explaining that it’s a metered/limited satellite internet connection and instructed to entertain yourselves the old fashioned way instead. It takes forever for a simple page to load. No other complaints except these. Crappy comfort due to lack of heat and crappy internet. Other than that, no issues, cabin very nice, secluded, quiet.

This cabin is a great place to stay if you’re looking to spend quality time with family and friends away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Technological use is limited which allows time to create memories that you’ll remember for the years to come! The location of the cabin provides easy access to any hiking trails you may wish to visit and to any neighboring towns you’d like to explore. Overall, this cabin was a great stay and we had a great time!

Stayed for a week with 3 adults. There was plenty of room to spread out. Everything you need is there! The road to get there is a bit rough for my VW Jetta but I would do it again. Some nice trails in Pike National Forest within walking distance. The sauna was a nice treat after hiking all day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

In the midst of the COVID madness, my friends and I needed a change of scenery and pace. I googled a few locations and stumbled upon this gem. We had an amazing time and had zero need to leave the cabin, outside of a walk or mountain biking. We had a blast and the cabin was beautiful! XO

This is a wonderful cabin with all of the amenities you might expect, and then some!!! Check in was a breeze- easiest I’ve ever had! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and is arranged to make excellent use of space! Views from different windows are spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend this property!!!
