The home was beautiful and very comfortable. It was high enough on the mountain that we had snow around the property for our entire stay. The heat was easy to operate and the home was super clean. We are planning to come back next year. I highly recommend this home to anyone. Thank you.
Property was clean and well maintained -- many thanks to the staff who work to make it so on behalf of guests. We enjoyed our beautiful stay in Park County, Colorado.
The property was beautifully located, private but not far from larger towns. It was a great place for hiking, white water rafting and other activities this summer. Would recommend to any larger groups and someone looking for a fun and adventurous retreat!
Lovely house in quiet forested area. Short drive from highway with dramatic mountain views. Close to wonderful hiking trails including many 14ers! Great hot tub. Great bathtub. We had a wonderful family getaway here.
My group had a great weekend up in the mountains at the cabin. The house was well appointed with what we needed to cook, and very comfortable. Like the listing shows, it is very high elevation.
This is such a a cool vacation spot! Close enough to the mountains to ski or board and so remote and unique. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a long day. Also communication with the hosts was straightforward and timely. You definitely need 4wd and snow tires in the winter if there is snow but we were prepared and it was not a problem.
For the most part we throughly enjoyed our stay. Only thing that was lower rating was how rough the last few roads were up to the cabin. It took its ware on us daily, but we love CO so much it didn’t stop us from going to explore. Don’t forget to bring a griddle or something to cook on as all the pans are bent and unable to cook on them. But if you’re cooking soup the pots are great! Something we will make better note of for next time 🙂 Overall a fabulous vacation and nice pet friendly property.
The cabin was easy to find and access. It’s very large and has a good view of the mountains and rising sun from the master bedroom’s balcony.
My daughter and her family arrived a few days before my partner and I did. They enjoyed their stay. They were visited by a couple of playful foxes. Hiking is mainly on roads around private properties but we mainly wanted a restful retreat and escape from work, anyway.
Management was very communicative and understanding. I had neglected to book our dogs because I thought my daughter had already done it. They made it easy to pay the pet fees after our arrival.
I would definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed in this beautiful Cabin for Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed everything, from the hot tub, the layout of the home. It gives plenty of space for some to relax and others to have loads of fun. The hot tub was perfect. The views coming and leaving the cabin are breathtaking. The drive to Breck is easygoing, about a 35 minute drive, drive has more spectacular views. Mr. Burro Cafe, Casa Sanchez and Asian Fusion were all a great places fpr a quick bite. I didnt give a 5 star in cleanliness only because it was a bit dustier than I can tolerate in certain areas. I would recommend investing in a purifier/humidifier, it would be a great add. Overall, GREAT PLACE!
Property was incredible. Just incredible. You could hear a pin drop at night. You definitely need 4WD haha. It snowed like crazy during our stay but they got the driveway plowed for us. We had zero complaints. Well actually, it could use a new grill. The knobs don’t function as they should and we couldn’t use it. No biggie. We used the oven/stovetop. We had such a great time doing nothing. Plan ahead and make sure you have all the food and water you will need. The weather is no joke up there. The staff was also incredible. I already miss being there.
We really enjoyed our stay overall! My husband loves remote locations and this was a remote location during our SB ski vacation. The house was comfortable and had all of the kitchen appliances we needed. We definitely needed 4WD vehicle for this location! The house layout was perfect for our family of 4! The hot tub was nice once we learned how to work the jets! The hot water upstairs did not get hot enough for our liking, but the middle bathroom shower was great! The clothes dryer was not working, which I did not know until after I had washed a load of laundry and then was informed someone would be coming to work on the dryer later that afternoon. Upon leaving, the front door would not lock...I am sure it was user error, but directions on the check in process or in the binder would have helped I think. None of these items would deter us from staying again though! It was great! We did leave a day early due to the big winter storm coming through and we did not want to get stuck as we had to catch a flight the next day.
Property is well maintained, host responded quickly to any questions or needs. Beds are too firm, but that’s a matter of preference. Very nice area and house.
Great house. Hot tub was perfect for sunrises and coffee or late night star gazing. All was great but king mattress was VERY firm. Saw several moose next door!
Porcupine Slopes is the perfect place to stay! There was plenty of room for 7 adults, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen had all the gadgets needed for cooking, the view was amazing, and the hot tub was the perfect ending to a long day. Will definitely be staying there again!
