House was exactly as described and worked perfect for a place to stay while hunting. There is even access to national Forest right across the street. Only thing that was a hassle was having to take the trash out a couple miles in the opposite direction of our exit.

Nice place

Place was clean and well stocked. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. Loved being close to national forest with a great trail. It was close to FairPlay CO with restaurants and access to groceries and supplies. Enjoyed the remote quiet location.

One more time

We are the repeat customers--the Paine cabin has always been great for us. We enjoyed the deck, so nice to take a walk on the trail right outside the cabin, well stocked pantry, clean bath with plenty of towels. Wildflowers were just starting, and we got some clear skies for stargazing. All good.

This is the second year we’ve stayed at this property. The host is always quick to respond to our needs. It’s a charming property with tons of movies. There are plenty of channels to watch if you get stuck inside. We got stuck inside one day due to the fires. The air quality index was 115 and kept us inside one day. There’s a full kitchen. A great washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are comfortable. Each room has a dresser. There’s a side table with a lamp. The living room a couch and two love seats.. Like you said this is our second year here. There is wildlife. I woke up one morning to six deer out front. there’s a Keurig and a regular coffee maker there. If you choose to stay there, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Aspen Cabin

This is the second time we've stayed at this cabin, and enjoyed it as much as the first. Maybe better, as the last stay was in July, mosquitoes were bad enough that we didn't eat on the deck. Not so this time, enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside! Wildflowers were just as beautiful, fresh mountain breezes, aspen trees and birds. We slept well, what more could you want?

This is the best VRBO we have rented in the Fairplay area. We will definitely rent again if it is available. The picture does not show all the trees around the house. It makes you feel very secluded. The minute you walk in the door you feel at home. It is open & inviting. There are plenty of windows that are easy to open for fresh air. The dining room table is large. The living room is cozy with pillows, blanket, kids toys, tons of movies & games. The kitchen has everything you need including a big variety of coffee, tea, etc. There is a washer & dryer. As well as, a barbecue on the deck. There is a table & chairs on the deck to watch the night sky. The beds are comfortable with bed side tables with lamp. One of the bedrooms has a tv. The bathroom has 2 sinks, plenty of towels & great water pressure. The art on the walls is beautiful & appropriate for the cabin feel. The cabin is the cleanest we have had. We just loved being there from the word go. I wish I had taken pictures but I was too busy just relaxing.

Very comfortable cabin in the woods

The cabin is very comfortable. This was a fly fishing trip and the location was ideal to access nearby streams. The house is well equipped. The kitchen has everything you needed for food prep so you did not have to improvise. The gas grill is great which we used every day. The washer/dryer is a luxury so we did not need to over pack for the trip. Great internet service and had no issues streaming movies. This is a great place to escape civilization and relax.

FairPlay cabin

The cabin was perfect. It was clean and very cozy. We skied Breck Saturday and Sunday. It took an hour on Saturday due to extra traffic; Sunday was 40 minutes. Sharing for planning purposes for other ski/snowboarders.

Warm Springs Ranch

Owner was very communicative and easy to deal with. The cabin is in a Covenant Controlled Community and they are very serious about the posted rules. Great views of the valley. Take the supplies you need as you are a 20 minute drive to the nearest store in Fairplay, CO. Would stay here again.

Warm Springs Ranch

Property was well kept and appointed, had all we needed to have an enjoyable stay. Nicely stocked movie library, the best part was the trailhead nearly across the street that connects to Forest Service trails and the other trails through the open space. Very private setting in the aspens, enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning.
