"Upon arrival, there were already about 10 people drinking a racket in the lobby. The perdón who checked me in toom more than 10 minutes even though the reservation had made over a week in advance."

"While the location was convenient and Stephen at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, I was very disappointed with the condition of my accommodations. My stay began in room #139, which was in poor condition. I noted burn marks on the walls and carpet, a cracked bathroom light switch, tape residue on the walls, and a missing smoke detector. Furthermore, there was an ant infestation on the counter and the room phone was non-functional. Most significantly, there was no hot water. Stephen informed me that a water heater was out and hot water was being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. This should have been disclosed prior to check-in. I specifically booked a room with a jetted tub to manage muscle pain, and the lack of hot water rendered this amenity unusable. Although Stephen kindly moved me to a room with a jacuzzi, the continued lack of hot water meant I still could not use the facilities I paid for."

"I had bad experience during my stay this hotel , after i checked in I went to the bathroom to take a shower and i the surprise it was not hot water so when i went to the front desk and I asked for switching rooms or maintenance the guy working there said he can do nothing for me with no apologies or looking to resolve my issue,plus the dirty sheets and blankets, I don’t recommend it for anyone 😔"

"I had a terrible experience at the double tree hilton-dearborn hotel. I arrived early on May 28th, 2026 around 12:00 p.m., I did an early check in and got charged a $25 fee which was fine. I got a room and went to see it. As I was walking, the property was dirty, the pool was filthy with so much film, and bacteria in it. As soon as I entered the room, it had towels on the floor, the bed not made , wasn't cleaned or touched after the person who was staying there before me. Mind you I was traveling with my husband and 5 yrs old. We got mad, went down and said the room is dirty, they waived the early checkin fee and assigned us to another room, checked out the second room, and found it filthier than the room before. We had a nonrefundable booking thru expedia, but I contacted expedia, and hotel manager to refund my money, we ended up leaving and booked another hotel. This is supposed to be a four star hotel ?! I can't give it any star rating honestly. Don't waste your time here !"
