"This is an absolutely delightful boutique hotel. The host, Mario was so accommodating and considerate. The rooms are beautiful, and the grounds offer opportunities to relax in different spaces - poolside, gardens, private patio or shared interior lounge. If you are seeking quiet and a restorative environment this is ideal. Wifi is available but was weak in our room (3) which supported turning off connectivity and focusing on the moment. There’s a small fridge and safe in the room. The resident cat is charming as are the interiors - whimsical decor and abundant plants with lots of light and air flow. The simple breakfast was delicious and Mario was so kind to get it set up for us earlier so we could leave to catch our flight from Lisbon. It is a rural property so be aware that a car is needed to seek out meals but the nearby beach is a ten minute drive away and has a beautiful restaurant with a patio perfect for watching the sunset. "

The house is situated in the middle of nature, yet just a short drive away from all amenities, characterful small towns, great beaches and within easy reach of Lisbon. The property was clean, very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Communication was a dream with copious information of house, surroundings, places to eat etc. being provided upfront, which showed us even before arrival that the owner really does care. "
