"Negatives; 1. Last 30 metres of climb to the property was extremely steep. 2. The bed (a pull our couch) was the hardest that we have ever experienced. 3. The owner/host spoke zero English. 4. She showed us an unacceptable small unit, which we declined, until showing us a larger one with a view (which we had paid for). 5. "This hotel is in an incredible location directly across from the church where St. Francis is entombed. To get to it you have to drive through the pedestrian only cobblestone street so a small car is advised. Also, you need to arrange parking if you are driving to it. We did not arrange parking but the clerk (Jean Luke if I remember correctly) went above and beyond to accommodate our vehicle. He also helped us to arrange our pre-dawn departure as there was no clerk at the desk at that hour. The view of the church from our 5th floor room was incredible. The staff unexpectedly prepared us a lunch in a bag for our next morning departure. All in all we had a marvelous experience!"
