"We all had a lovely holiday, staying at this beautiful, spacious property. The pool is fantastic and we hardly felt the need to leave the property as the children entertained themselves and it is perfect for relaxing, being so tranquil. The nearby river beach was fun too. The owner was very attentive when needed and provided helpful tips about the area. We’d love to come back!"

"Quietly located place in the forest at 5 km from major roads. Deer come to the garden in the evening. All facilities available even android TV on which you can cast movies and TV. Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings. "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

I was only confused about the booking: VRBO/FeWo-direkt warns you to only pay or communicate via their own platform and to ignore all other requests.
