"This was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Maysville. I thought it was very comfortable and the breakfast was first rate! There are downstairs (first floor) rooms, but mine was on the top floor and no elevator. So please note if you have mobility issues. I parked on the street so I don’t know what other options are available. Lovely place and historic property."

"The room is in a nice location - quiet, clean, and safe. I had a big truck with trailer and parked it across the street at the cracker barrel, but others parked in the parking near hotel. Gas was conveniently across the street. The property was well maintained, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent. The room was fine, except the carpet was a little grungy and needed to be cleaned, and then we found a giant cockroach in the bathroom. It sounds gross (and was) but it didn't feel like it was a lack of cleaning - just a random occurrence. Overall, a good stay."

Check-in information was sent well in advance, making our arrival completely stress-free, and the host was always quick to respond to any questions throughout our stay.The house itself was spotless—truly one of the cleanest vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. I'm very particular about cleanliness when traveling, and this home exceeded my expectations. Check-out was just as easy and hassle-free.The setting is what truly makes this place unforgettable. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with breathtaking 360-degree views of rolling fields and pastures, it feels like a peaceful escape from the world. Our kids absolutely loved watching the cows graze near the house each day—it was the highlight of their trip! There are several outdoor seating areas where you can relax, soak in the scenery, and enjoy the quiet.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway where you can truly unwind, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside, this is the place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.Also check out Stepping Stone Farm when you're visiting the area. They have a great farm stand to pick up local made goodies and home grown produce. They also have a lot of things for the kids to do while you're there."
