Medieval Magnificence

It was a beautiful hotel in a restored very old building. Our room had a fabulous view over the long flatlands looking east (Évora is on a hilltop). Couldn’t be more conveniently located near the cathedral and Roman Temple of Diana.

Feels like living in a historic bldg (built in 1500) with frescos and plaster walls and high ceilings. Situated in center old town close to cathedral and Roman ruins. Great little hotel with quirky layout over multiple levels. Car parking for 5 or 6 cars only so plan to park off site (or get lucky!) Good breakfast too

This hotel is in a fantastic location within a beautiful town, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The place is cozy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room itself is fairly average, and our bathroom sink was unbelievably tiny—almost comically small! Still, a nice spot if you prioritize location.
