Most beautiful view I've had from a place in my 60 years! Sound of river is very peaceful. Home was cleaned wellCouple issues with the rental - bad beds (squeaky)- Hot Tub Dirty/Trash Full on arrival- No Propane for Grill - BAD water! Overwhelming rust smell/taste and stained all of our clothing...All corrected (not bad water as this was only last 2 days and was not reported) in a timely manner by Vacasa, but still had to deal...Would rent again if above problems are addressed.

House on the river

House was great. Nice and spacious for our family of 6. The 4 adults had their own room (2 singles/1 couple) and the kids stayed in the loft. Location on the river was nice. The only downside was that there was no direct access to the river unless you want to climb down the rocks. Highly recommend if you like being close to the water. Leavenworth is close by for easy day trips.

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful property. Right on the river. Geese and wild life. Kitchen is reasonably stocked. Hot tub is amazing, had some sort of energy mode that we had to figure out and it is not covered so the tub get debris in it when in use from trees. Seating is comfortable and the house was warm and cozy. The beds were too hard for my liking and i did wake up sore. The pillows are soft.

Little slice of heaven

The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. The beds were so comfy and the furniture was also comfortable and in great condition. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! I would highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Views !

This cabin has amazing views and river was flowing nice. Hot tub was nice touch. Wi-Fi does not work and per previous reviews looks like it’s been down for a while. We have Verizon cell service and had 1 bar. I would definitely stay again !!

Fantastic location, house needs updates

The location, the house itself, the hot tub, overall experience would be a 10/10. The beds were comfortable, lots of pillows. There were no extra blankets for lounging, but we came prepared. The service for most of our group's cell receptions were extremely poor, it made communicating with property management difficult. Big pluses: 1. The location is PRIME. Roaring river, close to trails, large backyard, amazing jaw-dropping view. 2. The hot tub is massive. 3. Two fridges made storing food and drinks very easy. 4. Large size laundry was convenient for washing the towels inbetween the hot tub. 5. Lots of DVDs, which was nice for downtime and the internet never worked. Notes for improvement to the property management: 1. The internet did not work. We're all in the tech industry and still couldn't resolve the internet issues. Despite the resetting and unplugging, there was no internet. Cell service was also limited (1 bar or less) so hotspots were also out of the question, couldn't send pictures etc. If the internet is known to be spotty at that location, would be a helpful warning on the listing. (Its nice to get away from internet but some guests needed to work away from home) 2. Bathroom updates: The first bathroom has a cracked shower head and sprays everywhere. Also the trimmming and baseboards were crumbling away and appeared moldy. The toilet seats are made out of wood and when wiped down ourselves were extremely dirty. The tub with the jets is extremely stained and the filter looked very dirty. 3. General hardware: The upstairs loft railing is loose and moves significantly when descending the stairs. The oven needs a deep clean, there is a really bad smell when being used and the grates are very dirty. The hot tub was extremely chlorinated, green foam bubbles overflowing that had specks of black. We aired it out and tried to scoop out the foam as much as possible, was not pleasant for those with sensitive skin. Overall, the cabin has MASSIVE potential. Some minor updates to the kitchen and bathrooms would've made for a better experience. Honestly, despite the minor setbacks, would stay here again.

Not as expected.

House is in need of updating, screen doors, furniture (recliner) floor boards at the doorways. Found the house with the back sliding door unlocked and upstairs screen door open. TV needs instructions to be able to use properly. Nice river view and back porch. The Sultan address is very misleading as it is 20 miles away.

A nice house in a beautiful location!

The house was perfect for us and the view of the river and mountains is amazing! It's also in a great location, with many hiking opportunities nearby. The only problem is the hot tub. We had to use the two fuse boxes to reset the breakers to even get it to work. Also, the touch screen is not sealed properly, so if a tiny bit of water gets in, the screen is unusable, and you will not be able to turn on the jets or change the temperature. And lastly, the local water is heavy on minerals, so the water in the tub is yellow/brown. It's clean, but it looks terrible. So, don't get too excited about the hot tub.

Fantastic View but That's It

The hot tub was supposedly cleaned the day before we arrived and obviously hadn't been done even though we were specifically charged a $30 hot tub cleaning fee. There was old coffee left in the coffee pot and blood stains on a pillow in the closet. The street address sign is missing numbers and the driveway isn't well marked. There's no book detailing the amenities, how to handle garbage/recycle/compost, towels to use for the hot tub, available local attractions, check-out list, etc. All carpets definitely need replacing. Both of the leather chairs have ripped headrests which your hair gets caught in. There's no axe to chop the firewood. Some of the blinds/sunscreens don't work. We had to purchase paper towels and garbage bags as spares weren't provided (or at least noted where they were stored). There were only four butter knives. The button descriptions on the dishwasher and toaster oven are worn off so there's no way to tell what the settings are. All of the water is brownish (assuming this is from the well but there is no sign stating so). Would have been nice if there were some yard games available. There's plenty of storage in the front entry/laundry room which would be a great place to store extra supplies (e.g. paper towels and garbage bags). The address is listed as Sultan which doesn't seem correct as it's much closer to Index and Baring. The view of the river is fantastic but I wouldn't return just for it. Given this is a Vacasa property I expected much better.

Spectacular views

What a spectacular property! It’s as beautiful and serene in person as it is in pictures, if not more so. The little beach down the rocks is so peaceful and a great place for kids to spend time exploring and throwing rocks. The deck is large and comfortable, and you’ll never want to be anywhere else. We haven’t spent this much time outdoors in months. The cabin itself is very comfortable and well appointed. We wanted for nothing (except maybe a muffin tin, but to each his own!). The beds are quite comfortable, but that really depends on your preferred level of firmness (they’re on the firmer side). The bathrooms seem newly renovated and are nicely done. The large laundry room at the front of the house is a great extra space for storage and organization. My only complaint is that the cabin is directly off the highway, and across the street from train tracks. It’s true the river drowns out the sound of both when you’re at the back of the house, but both the train and highway noise are extremely loud and disruptive, especially at night during the summer with the windows open. Our sleep did improve after we utilized sound machines and with the strategic closing of some windows. A word of warning to parents of very young children: the deck does not have any kind of fencing or guardrail, and it would be easy for little ones to toddle right off of it, (though the drop is 2-3 feet at most). Also the property itself sort of ends abruptly at a wall of rocks leading down to the river. Our 2 & 4 year olds certainly kept us on our toes for the duration of our stay, but they did well with ample supervision. None of this was any problem for our 6 year old. We’d love to return in other seasons to see the snow and fall colors. It’s truly a great property.

The place is beautiful and comfortable!

The place was very relaxing and had everything you need to stay, cook and enjoy yourself. They have the hot tub serviced every week so that was a plus. We enjoyed out time. The river was really high and you could hear it inside to give you a back to nature feeling. We did not use any electrics but they have cable and a lot of DVD movies to choose from. Having the washer and dryer was a plus! The only problems we had is was the power was out and the code to get in was wrong. It took 30 mins to reach the management service number. Power came back on an hour later. This caused the freezer ice machine to stop working and caused it to leak the whole time. It make an extremely load noice every 3 hours. Also, we could not use the BBQ it was broken and extremely dirty with 2 inches of slip underneath where the propane sits.

Perfect location, private and close to town.

Beautiful mountains and river right outside, the highway noise is constant but the river cancels it out nicely. This place was exactly what we were looking for, I would definitely come back.

the house was equipped well. The beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of space for 6 adults.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was appointed well. Only thing missing was a griddle to make pancakes/French toast. Living area was comfortable, View was awesome. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to do laundry and towels. Also nice that the laundry detergent was provided. The hot tub was used each night and was a nice way to end the day. Only thing missing outside was some comfortable chairs, like Adirondack chairs. We spent a lot of time outside, it was sunny and hot while we were there, so it would have been nice to have some sort of shade over the deck. Otherwise nice private layout. We would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful place!

We loved it. The setting was gorgeous, like a picture postcard. It was very peaceful and the rooms were very nice. The girls loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend it. Wonderful place.
