"I'd happily stay again. Outside, the rooms look like a workers-camp donga, but inside they are new, fresh and clean, however very much built and decorated to a tight budget. I can imagine the Golf Club committee saying "OK, its a good idea to expand our facilities but how cheap can we do it?!". Missing homely touches - our room had one-only small picture on the wall, of a ...weir...?!? The other walls were blank. Perhaps some golf-oriented or Aus landscape wall art might be more applicable. Also some bedside reading lamps and a floor lamp would be functional and might make the room feel more relaxing. We enjoyed having a drink on the golf-club deck and watching the sunset over the golf course. followed by a good bistro dinner with excellent service from the staff."

"House is amazing. Pool room, cinema, 5 huge bedrooms, three bathrooms and an unreal outside area. There were a few issues with no lights in the bathrooms, kitchen and toilets, no fans were working in the toilets either? They are working on this with their electrician."

"We stayed here for 3 nights, about 2 weeks and it was a completely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The staff and management team were warm, friendly and professional, and could not have done more to make us feel welcome and looked after. Some things need to run a little differently from what we were used to (like ordering dinner ahead, or booking tours) - it is after all a very remote location, which is what you come to Mungo for! But our hosts explained everything to us and once we got the hang of it, all went very smoothly. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was extremely comfortable, spacious and clean. But when we wanted a change of scene on a rainy afternoon, sitting around the fire in the lodge was fun and cozy! We ate in the lodge all three nights. I had a different meal each night and each one was scrumptious, but my personal favourite was the nasi goreng. My husband had the lamb curry the first night and loved it so much he had it every night after that! I could not say more about the wonderful experience at Mungo Lodge. Highly recommend!!!"
