Large front porch, fenced in backyard, front and side yard with separate entrance for extra parking. Two bedrooms downstairs, king and queen size beds. Two bedrooms upstairs, one has a queen and full size bed, the other has two full size beds. Two bathrooms Good reunion home. Great Location. Ocean access 10 miles away.

Everything was great at the house we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room to park several cars. The scenery outside was beautiful and we were very close to the river, which was nice.

Loved the location of the house! It was easy to access and plenty of room for the whole family. Sandy called the day of our check in to go over the process, and the house had a binder with instructions, maps of the nearby parks, and restaurant recommendations!

We had a wonderful stay in the redwoods. The house was very close to Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park, and it was very easy to find great places to hike and swim.

The property was just what we were looking for. Close to Redwoods and the coast, and it was a comfortable place for our family to stay. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our doggy to be able to run around without her leash attached.

Location

Twin Trees Retreat was a perfect location to enjoy the Redwoods and nearby towns. We enjoyed the games and amenities. Host was fantastic to work with and had a binder that listed things going on around town for the 4th which was appreciated!

The housekeeper didn’t move any furniture while cleaning but that’s the only negative from our stay.

Lovely place. I’ll pm the host to comment on the housekeeping. We had a great reunion here!

This house was older, so it has some issues, but it was fun and the property manager Sandy was very responsible and nice. We had a good time and I would rent it again.

My family had a wonderful stay! Sandy was an incredible host, very prompt with her communication and generously allowed us an early check-in and late check-out. The house was very comfortable, and looked even better than the photos once we opened all the window shades. Great front porch, plenty of bedrooms and extra blankets. Some noise from the highway in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We misinterpreted other reviews to mean that we could walk to hiking trails straight from the house; that wasn't the case, but there were several only a few minutes' drive away. Really ideal location for enjoying the Redwoods & Smith River, highly recommend!

The house was as described, and Sandy was very responsive if we had a question or concern. The floors in bathrooms could’ve been swept/cleaned better (hair on floor when we arrived) but other than that the house was clean and we appreciated all the books and games. It is in a good location near the Hiouchi bridge- you can walk to the river if you’re careful, but the house is located on a big, busy road and cars drive fast so be cautious if you’re walking! We enjoyed the spacious yard and picking blackberries further down N bank road. We also swam at George Tryon bridge and in Gasquet at the forks.

The property was perfect for your Redwood National Park getaway. There were some issues with our water heater, but Sandy had a maintenance worker at the house within the hour. Communication was great and the house had everything we needed and more. Thanks again!

Good stay for what we needed. BBQ was advertised with property, but wasn't there when we got there. But Manager had a brand new one (we put together) within an hour of finding it wasn't there from the beginning.

Great location

Nice house with good layout. Host was super friendly and responsive. Best part was being close to so many good trail options. Did multiple trails over three days and had very little driving. The backyard was nice to have too.

A wonderful family get-away base camp in a custom-built post-WWII period home! Lots of open area in the enclosed backyard for outdoor dining, walking distance to the Smith River and Jedidiah Smith State Park, and a short drive to the hamlet of Hiouchi for essentials. Hosts are attentive, pleasant, and responsive to any needs or problems that may arise—looking forward to returning when the fishies are running!

Loved this place

We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautifully kept home with amazing porch & fenced backyard. Great large family home with lots of entertainment at the house. We had everything we wanted and more. One of my favorite rental houses of all time! Very professional owners who really understand how to host a cozy, clean home. We are definitely going to stay again.

Nice base house near state parks

New kitchen, older house but perfect to use as a base to explore redwoods all day. Private and 2 min from Jedediah Smith campground and river access. 5 min from Howland Hill and about 15 min from town. Front porch is nice to place to eat dinner. It fit my large family and was a good place to unwind after day long adventures in the redwoods

Redwood Bliss

This house was perfect for us and our 2 standard poodles. We could hike in the redwoods and have access to beautiful beaches in the same afternoon. We will definitely stay here again.
