Ettrick Marshes An area well occupied by many butterflies and dragonflies. Fox and roe deer were also seen here today. Nearby is Midgehope which is well named as the midgie was very active here on this muggy morning.

Ettrick Marshes An area fenced off to protect it from the ravagings of grazing animals. The marshes are a home to wonderful flora as well as many animals and fox and roe deer were seen here this morning. Scabcleuch Hill the prominent hill.
