The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean. The free breakfast is excellent. We will stay every time we visit Ettlingen.

Delight in Ettlingen

Our host was not able to accommodate all of our small group, so my husband and I took their suggestion of ibis Styles downtown. It was a 7-minute walk from the hotel to our host's house. And convenient to the 'village' of shops near by. The hotel was modest and clean, the room was efficiently laid out, the breakfast buffet had something for everyone. I now know that ibis has locations in other parts of Germany and I would not hesitate to stay at an ibis hotel in the future.

When I arrived the basement parking of the hotel was full, and I had to park my car outside , 300 m walk. That is not what I expected. I should have been informed upfront - I was there before. Hotel parking is always one of my choice criteria. Not happy.

Book it only if you have no other option.

It’s a decent hotel but totally overpriced. Unless, for a reason I am not aware of, Ettlingen is a special spot, there is nothing that justify the kind of price Ibis is asking for a room in this hotel. They are even charging for parking, fortunately there is plenty of free parking in the streets around. The young lady at the lobby was really not welcoming and had obviously a problem with the idea of smiling. I like to think that it was because she knew it was a rip-off and couldn’t be happy about it. Breakfast was nice though….

Wir haben nur einen Zwischenstop gemacht. Dafür war's perfekt. Ganz nah an der Autobahn, alles sehr sauber und neuwertig. Mattratze angenehm hart, was für die meisten Hotels ja eine absolute Ausnahme ist, Frühstück super. Gerne wieder!

Empfehlenswert

Super nettes Personal, vor allem im Frühstücksbereich! Leckeres Frühstück mit kleinem Veganer-Stand. Um 14h war leider kein früher Check-In möglich, aber die Möglichkeit, Koffer aufzubewahren wurde angeboten. Einfahren in die Tiefgarage zum Check-In war kein Problem, auch ohne einen Parkplatz zu buchen. Parkplatzsuche in der Nähe: kann schwierig werden. Ruhiges, sauberes Zimmer. Dusche neigt zur Überschwemmung des Bereichs davor. Organisation der Beleuchtung könnte besser sein (Ausgesteckte Stehlampe: okay: Beleuchtunsstabdort nach Bedarf, aber erster Steckdosenversuch: kein Strom… Kleinigkeiten… Summa summarum war es schön! Kommen gerne wieder :-)

Sehr sauberes Zimmer in sehr gutem Zustand. Sehr freundliches Personal mit unkomplizierter Abwicklung. Gutes Frühstück. Großes Lob für die kinderfreundlichkeit, eines der wenigen Hotels die problemlos auch drei Kinder ins familienzimmer aufnehmen.
