I’ve stayed at many rentals and this one is top of my list for a great experience! The home is immaculately clean, cute cabin decor, stocked with everything anyone could need, great communication, and close to town and RMNP. We had an amazing time and will look for this home again to rent in the future!

We used the place as a crash pad for several of a wedding party and it had everything we needed. Place was spacious with several king beds, and very clean. Instructions were clear and the location was fine for getting into town.
Owner provided some small touches that were nice and appreciated. I would definitely rent the unit again.

We had a really nice stay. The house was comfortable for 4 adults and 3 kids and was situated in a perfect spot. We enjoyed many features of the area including the beauty of RMNP. We had elk in the yard several evenings which the kids loved! The weather was a bit warm and although there were plenty of fans, the storm windows were on making ventilation a challenge.

Our family was very pleased with the Estes Park getaway. The house was extremely clean and the upper and lower floor plan gave us plenty of room with 2 small children. We loved that we could walk into town and explore. The restaurant suggestions from Joe were spot on. The kitchen was super well equipped and a dining table for 6 worked well for our Christmas dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and we had a deer family sitting and relaxing in the yard. We look forward to returning.

Stayed in the house with a group of friends in order to have easy access to RMNP for a long weekend. The house was very well appointed (kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms) and both very clean and comfortable. Communications with the property manager were clear and easy. Easy access to downtown and the grocery store, although definitely more conveninent to drive than walk. Overall it was a great deal for the size and quality of the house.

My family of three (2 adults + 4 year old) had an amazing stay at Happy Place! The property was large for our family, but we loved all the space and flexibility it gave us. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfy and the bathrooms are clean and updated. The decor was fun and beautiful and added to the “escape from home” we were looking for in our first family getaway in 2 years. The access to RMNP and Estes Park were perfect and we already have thoughts of coming back with extended family. We didn’t need to contact the property managers while on site, but did before and after with very quick and helpful responses. Highly recommend!

Our family of 9 does a fall getaway every year. Everyone in our party agreed this was the best VRBO yet. Big, comfy beds with lots of pillows and a tv in every room. A kitchen stocked with every pan, bowl, cup, and utensil you can imagine. Darling decor! The location felt like we were definitely in the mountains, but we could’ve easily walked downtown. Plus, this property was SPOTLESS! Not a speck of dust to be found. The owner was very responsive and communicative when we had questions. This property will be our #1 choice from now on!

Our family of 8 adults stayed here 6/14-17. We loved the house itself as there was space for us in the living area to all hang out. It’s very well stocked with plenty of towels for all of us, coffee (!!), spices, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. There was room for all of us around the kitchen table and there were several nice areas to sit out on the deck, too. The location was nice. It was a quick drive to the lake and the downtown. The hosts were easy to work with and responsive to messages before the trip. We have no reason to contact them during the trip because we didn’t need anything!

There’s something to be said about not having to pack shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, plastic bags, tin foil, spices and coffee. All of these things were in the home! Add in ample toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towel. Just needed to pack our clothes, hiking boots and ourselves!
Communication with Leah was great. We had an issue with an old bedroom window that broke. Leah attempted to deal with it immediately and gave us a little treat for our troubles (Starbucks came in handy in the airport on the way home!)
We were about 15 min from the Beaver entrance of RMNP and about 3 min from town. Very close to the Safeway as well. As a bonus, we saw the northern lights right from the property!
This is an older, comfy property. The convenience of having so many needful items is unparalleled!

The cabin was a great property to stay at for our Christmas in Colorado. A few short minutes from town and located in a nice quiet neighborhood, we loved the convenience of being able to pick up items at the local grocery store last minute and hunt down firewood for the beautiful wood burning fireplace.
We were disappointed to find out early check-in was unavailable due to guests that had been staying there the night before, which went against the listing for Covid policies that guests would have a minimum of one full day between stays. In addition, we found out the tub drain was broken making it unusable, which complicated bath time with our toddler. We also noticed the listing pictures weren't accurate in the upstairs bath, there is no longer a glass door but instead a plastic shower curtain which made showering difficult for the elderly and pregnant in our party, forcing them to use the downstairs shower. The tv over the bathtub was also removed. Had we known some of these things we likely would've expected a lower price point or refund for promised amenities that weren't included.
We found a used dirty sock behind the toilet in the downstairs bathroom and had to wipe down kitchen countertops before using them due to a sticky residue left behind.
Aside from that the King beds were very comfortable, the kitchen amenities were excellent and we loved the gorgeous views of the mountains, especially in the mornings!

We came here with another couple to enjoy the cooler temps (we live in Texas) during August. This location is close to town (10-min walk) and very convenient. Loved the layout of the place and the front and back porches for morning coffee. Some other reviews commented about "no AC" but it was fine... and we were there in August. Temps got down in 50's at night and only mid-70's in the day. Lots of fans and slept with windows open. It was great.
Leah was great at check-in and out. She gave me some great recommendations on local eateries and bars, along with a rental shop for trekking poles and a bear canister. She was also pro-active on giving us details on how to get daily passes and permits to hike in RMNP. They monitor the number of entries during these busy months so that paid off well for us. Thanks Leah for the insights!
Highly recommend this rental... and highly recommend Estes Park, in general!

The place was very clean when we got there and looked just like the pictures on the listing. Didn’t read the listing close enough to know they didn’t have AC. There were plenty of fans but it still got warm a couple of nights. Also, wish they had more toilet paper to offer. 4 rolls for 7 adults was just barely enough for 4-5 days haha. We really enjoyed using the kitchen to make a family dinner one night and the screening room downstairs is awesome. There were plenty of towels and blankets provided. Close enough to downtown where we walked a few times and even had a bunch of elk show up one morning! Overall great stay.

Really great house! Even better than pictures/as described. We loved it. Lots of doors and windows, many rooms remodeled, great patio space, plenty of parking. Close to downtown and the RMNP. I kept suggesting to my husband that we should make an offer! :) We had 6 adults and 2 kids and it could not have worked out better. Tons of amenities and extras as other reviews have said. Just wish we would have stayed longer. Choose this one. We will again.

This was the perfect stay for a girl's weekend in Estes Park. The house was clean, modern, decorated nicely, and the beds were very comfortable. There were nice touches like shampoo/conditioner, and everything you would need in the kitchen. Location is blocks from downtown, and about 10 min from the park. Would stay there again.

Adorable house that is well stocked with all that you need for cooking and enjoying time together. There were some windows that needed repairs to make them work better, but the house is wonderful. The porches provided great spots to sit, eat and enjoy the view. The house is in a great location in a nice private neighborhood. We loved the tranquil setting.

We have stayed in numerous VRBO‘s. This one was by far the best. What made it the best… It had supplies that we did not anticipate, it was clean and smelled fresh, it was super organized and decorated to make you feel right at home. We had the best time and loved Estes Park!
