Quaint hotel with extra perks like bonfire every night and smores. Only downside was that our house didn’t have air conditioning. I know it’s not typically super hot however inside the home was pretty warm

We literally stood across the street and booked a room here and we were able to walk right in. Convenient location to all the shops and restaurants. This is a very small room and even smaller bathroom. Ladies, if you need prep space, you are limited. The place is older but very well maintained and decorated cute. The fire pits and comfy seating was a bonus. I would recommend this for a short two night stay, as we did.

Das Zimmer war sauber, hätte jedoch die ein oder andere Reparatur nötig. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Lodge liegt direkt downtown, was sehr praktisch war.

We stayed here to hike RMNP and the location was great! Location: We could walk to the river walk with local shops and restaurants and it was also only 10-15 min away to RMNP. Onsite parking was great too because downtown parking can be tougher to find. Place: It was excellent, cute, well maintained. It was great having a small kitchen as well. Bed was very comfortable. Liked the outdoor seating areas. Quiet at night and even without AC it was cool and comfortable at night (in August). Amenities & service: we enjoyed the nightly fires and s’mores and the beautifully maintained grounds. The elk enjoyed it too and made a special appearance onsite one night! We also loved seeing hummingbirds every day. The staff was extremely helpful and recommended local spots and hikes! Would definitely recommend!

This property has an amazing location that is walkable to downtown. It is well maintained and has the great relaxed vacation vibe with for hanging out at the firepits and hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the suite was stocked with everything we needed for comfort. The staff was very responsive and very accommodating. We would stay hear again anytime we go to Estes Park.

Highly recommend a stay here. As an experienced traveler, I have to highly compliment the cleanliness of the room I stayed in. It was spotless! The bed was clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for access to old town, yet tucked away by the river far enough from high traffic areas. I was able to walk to many great restaurants within 5 minutes or less. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I loved the cozy feeling of this place, especially the fire pits that are around the property. The room was much bigger than I had expected for being a one bedroom studio and the price was very reasonable for the high tourist season. If I ever need another staycation, I’ll be booking here again!

This place was nothing short of unbelievable from the moment we got there. Linda was very accommodating, even upgraded our room! The property was stunning and our stay was flawless. We booked four nights at Misty Mountain but asked for a refund and left after the first night. I appreciate that staff was helpful and we did receive a refund for the nights after we left. My spouse and I were unable to sleep more than an hour at a time, despite neither of us being light sleepers. The walls were so thin we heard everything people in other rooms did - walking, opening and closing doors, snoring, being intimate - we heard it all. The doors in our unit were also loud when opened or closed. There were others things we were dissatisfied with but probably would have just dealt with if it weren't for the noise issues. The burner in the gas oven for our unit wouldn't ignite, so we wasted money on buying food to cook then were unable to. We didn't use the fireplace, but the whole unit, including bedding, smelled like fire wood since the time we arrived. Parking was limited and spaces were very tight for an SUV. After staying here, I'm surprised by how high the ratings are. There are some units that don't share walls with others, so I'm wondering if those guests are most satisfied. I would not recommend the main building.

Room was clean and close to everything. We walked everywhere except for our hike is RMNP and dinner at Rock Inn. Used the hot tub every night. Easy check in and out. We’d definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful stay! Misty Mountain was the perfect home base for exploring Estes Park and RMNP. The location couldn’t have been better—we were able to walk almost everywhere and truly enjoy the town without worrying about driving or parking. The staff was incredibly thoughtful. During an unusual heat wave, they provided fans even though air conditioning typically isn’t needed at this elevation. That kind of care and attention didn’t go unnoticed. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was beautifully appointed with high-end amenities, and we were welcomed with a sweet handwritten note that immediately made us feel at home. We also loved ending each day around the outdoor fire pit and starting our mornings there with a cup of coffee. The complimentary s’mores packages were such a fun and memorable touch. It’s the little details and genuine hospitality that make a place special, and Misty Mountain delivered both. We left feeling rested, welcomed, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

On the positive side the room was clean and it was close to downtown Estes Park. The room we had was terrible. It had no AC and only a ceiling fan. You could not open the door or the window to get cool air during the night since the room was barely 10 feet from the main road. The main room was so tiny that the bed and the big TV screen were taking all the place. No real chairs, just poufs and stools. No cupboard to put away clothing. No real table to eat or work on. The kitchen was a disaster waiting to happen: the faucet was stuck and could not be moved; there was a microwave oven on top of the fridge that was going to fall down any minute. That oven was also preventing to open the cupboard behind. There was a gas stove that looked like a fire hazard... we did not even try to use it.. it looked so old. In general it felt like the owners were "cheap" and trying to take advantage by "overselling" the property. I would recommend that they redo the room or convert it to a storage room. We got a message on the day we were checking in, that we had been moved to a "more modern room"... I wonder what that was all about ! By the way, we left one day early, but there was never a move by the owner to give us back the money we paid for that one night. If you go there, make sure to avoid getting that old and tiny room next to the road!

This hotel is within easy walking distance of everything (shopping & food). There are sidewalks connecting it to the main strip. For the rest there are shuttles or you can drive into the park on your own.

We loved how close we were to the town and could walk every place and to dinner. The room was a nice size and the kitchen was well stocked. The thing we didn't like was how sheer the curtains were and we were across from street lights.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is very good with close access to the park as well as restaurants and shops. Beds were clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was wonderful. However, bathroom is tiny. There is no dresser to put away clothes. Kitchen was functional, but old and tired. Also, be warned you will hear every footstep above you if you are on the first floor. We were awakened very early (4-5AM) every morning by guests heading to the park early. If I were to return, I would request a room on the second floor. I would also suggest renovating the kitchens.
