Top Estate Little Saint James Island Hotel Reviews

Bluebeard's Castle Resort
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay and view of ships and boats from our balcony. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was ok, just need to be a little softer when talking to guest on the phone (only one lady...don't recall her name) but overall stay was nice."

Emerald Beach Resort
6/10 Okay
"Nice beach bar. Beach access and views very nice."

Bolongo Bay Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing experience!"

Galleon House Hotel
4/10 Poor
"As many have mentioned there are a lot of steps to reception. Upon making the hike the reception wasn’t very welcoming and made it clear three o’clock is the earliest check in time. The breakfast is extremely limited with coffee some fruit and cheap muffins. "

Island View Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful view from the lobby and our room. We stayed in the premium room. Worth the extra. Rent an SUV or Jeep while there. You will need the ground clearance."

Margaritaville Vacation Club - St. Thomas
8/10 Good
"Having to wait for golf carts if you didn't want to climb up or down the many, many stairs to get from the mountain side rooms to the lobby area, restaurant, beach and ground floor pool and back again was aggravating at times.
Mone at the check in desk was so nice. Xena, also at the front desk, was exceptional with helping us relocate to a ground floor room as we needed to leave the property for our flight home before the golf cart crew started for the day.
Margaritaville restaurant has a very nice selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. Our server the first night of our stay was very, very slow. Our server the second night of our stay was exceptional.
Unfortunately, the Sargassum was in the cove and no one was in the water, but the pool area was clean, comfortable and had lots of loungers available.
Roosters, guinea hens, iguanas, cats and dogs are around the property. I could have foregone the rooster crowing at sunrise. "

The Pink Palm Hotel - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The Pink Palm was so beautiful .. The room was very clean and comfortable.. In general, the hotel was very quiet and serene.. Also, the complimentary breakfast every morning was so fresh and delicious.. "

Buoy Haus Beach Resort St. Thomas, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel exceeded expectations, cool vibe, great grounds, very clean. The room was really nice, the large swing chair on the patio was a nice touch. My only room complaint was a more private toilet door and the facet’s stream was very unusual for a hotel sink. We hung out at both the pool - so many pools to choose from- and beach, both were quite nice. It would have been nice for beach toys to be included rather than being an additional charge. We dined at Isla Blue. The vibe and decor was awesome. I ordered a Killer Bee cocktail based on the waiter’s recommendation and it was amazing, keep em coming’! The steaks were slightly above average for the price. However overall the food was just average. One pleasant surprise was the fact that the mini bar was completely included, booze too. Very unusual in my travels. I would rate 4.5 stars maybe even 5 for Virgin Islands, highly recommend!"

Mafolie Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The best and worth part of staying here is the view aside from that breakfast was free it helped a lot with spending money on food also because the only way to eat is actually getting into a taxi and finding everything else since you are on the top of a mountain and there’s nothing near or around there unless you’re driving or taking a taxi which are per person and becomes very expensive after a few rides a day. Did wish the breakfast was more flexible as you only have 2 options to choose from unless you want to pay to eat something else from the already set up menu. The waitresses at the restaurant were very helpful and friendly at breakfast gave us tips on things to do. We noticed St. Thomas isn’t really ADA so if you have any issues with climbing or stairs you might find yourself very stranded since everywhere there are hills, stairs and no way for someone who disabilities to get to anywhere specific this hotel where all they have is stairs to the reception, restaurant and rooms not even talk about the pool which is like 3 floors down the reception. If you love the view you are in for a treat if you want to be close to everything this is not the place you can’t walk you need taxis nothing is walking distance as that is not a possibility."
