"This beautiful hotel combines the charm of a historic building with modern comforts. The food is delicious, the staff are warm and friendly, and they are always happy to help arrange drivers and train journeys. But what truly makes this hotel special is its exceptional hospitality.
When I stayed here last year, I had just bought some Indian clothes and was struggling to figure out how to wear them. The ladies at the front desk and in housekeeping kindly helped me. When they noticed I had no pin to secure my scarf, one of the housekeeping staff even went out of her way to buy some for me.
When I returned this year, I found the pins tucked into an adorable little pouch on the bathroom counter. They had remembered! I was deeply touched that they had kept such a small detail in mind and prepared something for me. It made me feel truly remembered and cared for.
Someone had also noticed that I needed to remove my nail polish and thoughtfully left some remover for me without my even asking.
These little acts of kindness mean so much to me. I have never experienced such thoughtful, personal service at any other hotel. This is more than just a place to stay; it is my home in Kolkata.
I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. I will always come back to this wonderful place, where I feel not just welcome, but genuinely cared for."
