The lake has it's own glamor, rentals for boating , fishing, kayaks,. Miles of hiking/biking trails....Coast to Crest trail runs directly through the area. Best of San Diego " Free Things"- During the kids free month of October children 11 or younger receive free admission at Zoo/Safari Park, Birch Aquarium Scripps and many museums (san diego.org/promotions/kids-free)..... during February seniors 65+ get the same Zoo/Safari deal (visit - SDZ/SafariPark.org). Over 20 San Diego museums are free. IPA-Observed on the first Thursday each August, National IPA Day is a hoppy hootenanny and there are many awesome local breweries in our town. SD offers so much.
