"We had a fantastic stay at the villa - the photos don't do it justice. Lots of space to relax & enjoy the views. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. We made several trips in all directions to Lisbon, Faro, Lagos, West coast beaches & East to the national park. But most of all we enjoyed relaxing around pool."

"Nous étions venus photographier les oiseaux. Nous avons été enchantés par cette location et sa localisation. Très spacieuse, rien ne manque, tout le confort. "

A única coisa a apontar é a pouca variedade de produtos no pequeno almoço, deveriam ter pão alentejano por exemplo em vez de pão pré feito, não tem iogurtes nem fruta. "I had a couple of more than relaxing days here. The cottage is really nice and well equiped. Pool and Jacuzzi are amazing. And having dinner on the terrace while the sun sets is of stunning Beauty. Mel and Neill are perfect hosts. Hopefully I may be back in the future."

"Not sure where to begin, however this is now a special place to me and my partner. We visited 2 years ago - absolutely loved everything about it and during this visit I proposed to her here. The place itself is like a small villa and the location is fairly remote, be aware the drive up to get to this property isn’t for the feint of heart… especially with a rental car. It definitely adds to the experience of being remote but take your time and it’s not too bad. The room is spacious and the bathrooms are very nice. The showers have rainfall shower heads and there is a window right beside the shower - if you get lucky (rooms 5/6/7/8) they face west, so you can shower as the sun sets beside you. Each room is equipped with an air conditioning unit, so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Beds are comfy, pillows are soft, nothing to worry about with comfort. The pool and outdoor spaces are what makes this place unique. The infinity pool is amazing and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all. The hike that you can go on is awesome, bring some water and you’ll be fine. It takes you to a very quiet and remote part of a river with the option to kayak/canoe (you have to ask and pay first though). The staff during my stay were all very lovely but there was one in particular that went above and beyond. I forget his name (sorry!) however he was there the entire time we were there and was always smiling and ensured we had everything. Thank you! "
