「We stayed with another family and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the hot tub (especially while watching it snow!) and the bunkroom was perfect. The adults spent our time in the downstairs TV room watching football, where there was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable.」

「Very sketchy neighborhood, including smashed liquor bottles at the foot of the porch steps. The online photos of the interior are very misleading. Unit is old, poorly renovated and bare bones furnishings. We quickly discovered the place had not been cleaned since the last occupancy … dusty furniture, stagnant water in the bathroom sink which had an inoperable drain, and dirty sheets on the bed with undeniable evidence too gross to mention. There was also a very noticeable stench of marijuana...

「Bedroom was not clean (garbage under covers and bed). Dog poop out in the yard, coffee pot did not work. While the space was generally similar it was different than pictured, very basic, not comfortable. A lot of small damaged things (broken cabinet drawers covered with foam board, broken closet doors, no stopper in sink). Only had 3 bath towels for 6 people. Some rooms upstairs were cold. We stayed our scheduled two nights but would not recommend. The neighborhood was nice. 」

「Our family of four stayed here for 5 nights for a Kettering graduation. The location was wonderful with easy access to groceries and the college. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We enjoyed evening walks around the house and sitting on the deck in the sunshine. Basil was a great host and was responsive when we had questions. We had something that needed fixing and he got it done immediately. I highly recommend!」

「The rental was not without merit but for every positive there was a dissapointment. The shower was nice but the bathmat was stained from water that repeatedly soaked it from the water that leaked from the door. It had a nice covered front porch to sit on but it was questionable if you wanted to use it. One example was a man yelling as he walked with a long stick hitting signs and posts as he brisky walked up the street. It had a coffee pot but only 2 cups that held hot liquid and did not leak....

「Everything was great! It was perfect for our needs. The street it is on is loud and busy but that is beyond their control! Not super noticeable in the bedrooms, especially downstairs.」

「Very cute house. Stairs are curvy and very steep. Not appropriate for someone with mobility issues are very small children. Host was very responsive. We had trouble connecting to the TV in the living room, she was very helpful. There is a train that goes by continuously almost it really did not bother us much.」
