Nice clean place to stay that's only a few minutes from the beach (by car). Easy highway access too so it's a breeze getting to and from the stay. Nothing fancy but it did the trick. I was happy with my stay and enjoyed my time in Encinitas!

Quiet and comfy like being at home.

Everything went well. We really needed a zero hassle easy in and out, safe and quiet place to land for a few days while preparing for the next leg of our trip. Dee is a great host and we enjoyed meeting her and staying with her was just what we needed. Thanks Dee!

Absolutely wonderful!

Although we never got face time, Dee was incredible! She offered all kinds of insight about the area. A list inside of a few favorite places to go. Free Wi-fi, satellite TV, a super clean living area that had everything you would ever need in case you forgot it at home!She was always available for any questions, and it’s true- her brownies are the best!We look forward to our return.

Perfect spot in Encinitas

This efficiency unit was perfect for my husband and I. Microwave, dorm-sized refrigerator and coffee pot allowed us maximum flexibility with meals. YMCA is walking distance! Very convenient location on a lovely quiet street.

This was indeed quiet and peaceful. Room was spotless. Host was exceptionally responsive. Neighborhood was safe to walk around. Not far from ocean and good location for my needs. This was my first vrbo experience and based on this stay I would do again.

Great place for beachgoers and digital nomads

Dee is an incredible host. She is friendly, provides lots of information and truly wants to assist you in having a wonderful stay. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. You can walk through the neighborhood to many walking trails. The beach is really not that far away either.. Wonderful place to work and play.

Cozy, older squeeze but has basic necessities. Amazing cabinet in bath is a mini-general store. Appreciate blankets and pillows. Mostly clean, but numerous older cleaning supplies could be stored elsewhere. Smaller patio chairs inside could be more space efficient. Convenient location for us.

Cozy place to work and play

I stayed at this property for 5 weeks for both business and to attend social events. Dee is an amazing host. The room is cozy, the bed very comfortable, the sheets were wonderfully silky and the towels were fluffy. The neighborhood was quiet with great restaurants and walking trails nearby. This is a hidden gem for those that enjoy the beach and for digital nomads. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable

We loved the patio, the large bathroom and comfortable bed. Dee communicated with us daily via text, we never met or saw her in person. The room is very private. We didn't even close the blinds. Close to everything Encinitas and San Diego has to offer! Don't miss the the botanical gardens! They are amazing. Many cafes on 101! It was lively and very close.

10 STARS!!!

This place was just perfect for me. Dee is the consummate host. Conscientious, there when you need her but allows for your ultimate privacy as well. Her unit is 100% clean and I am very picky so trust me when I say clean. She provided amenities like water and the use of her Keurig, which was very helpful since I like to bring my own K cups. The bed is super comfy and the sheets are divine! I don’t hesitate to give her place a 10 STAR review.

The Best Stay Ever

I had the most wonderful stay at this property. I got a zoom job interview at a time when I supposed to have checked out already and Dee kindly accommodated me by letting me stay for a few more hours since there is no new guest coming. Dee also gave me her famous brownies which are to die for! Dee is a wonderful, kind person who make me feel very welcoming. I can’t ask for a better host than Dee. The property itself is exactly how it is described. It is very comfortable and quiet. There is a little yard area where I hanged my scuba diving gear to dry (I brought my own drying rack). The bed and the pillows are very comfortable. Although there is no stove, the place is equipped with a mini-grill/toaster oven, coffee machine and microwave, which is suited for my stay since I eat out anyways. The place is conveniently located a few minutes drive from the coast and from downtown Encinitas where there are plenty of restaurant choices. I feel like home at this place and I am looking forward to come back next time when I visit the San Diego greater area.
