I've never walked into a cleaner short term rental! Jason was a warm and well organized host. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from Leucadia's drag of the coast highway--coffee shops, wood fired pizza, record stores, beach access. It's a timeless place, perfect for our weekend with two discerning teens.

We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel completely welcome — even our dogs were spoiled with special treats! The backyard was perfect for them to run and play, and we loved picking fresh citrus to make orange juice in the mornings (the oranges were amazing!). The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Thank you for being such a kind and thoughtful host — we would love to come back!

Great location. Walking distance to leucadia beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for four and a dog. Had an issue and Jason got right back to me to fix it. Would definitely book again.

The property was wonderful. Once you drove through the gates, you enjoyed total peace and privacy. The house was comfortable and exceptionally clean. We didn’t need anything while we were there. Jason was a great communicator and answered all our needs. Our dog, Winnie, loved exploring the yard with the fruit trees and pathways.

This little beach house was the cutest and best property to stay at that we could’ve asked for! It made our first time in Encinitas all the better, especially for Beacon’s beach access and proximity to the cute town. I loved how welcoming the host was and the place was clean, secure, and dog friendly. Even had incredible fruit trees! There was nothing more we needed as far as amenities go. Thank you for such a positive experience that we’ll never forget!

Check in was so easy, Jason was an absolute dream. So so helpful and responsive! Waking up and seeing the ocean from the front door healed my soul. Loved the private parking behind the gate, and feeling like we had the whole place to ourself. Even picked a fresh grapefruit from the tree for breakfast! Would come back again and again!

This spot is excellent! Jason was super attentive and helpful when needed. The location is perfect: walking distance to food and fun. The house was super clean, with enough comfort and supplies to last. Our dog had the zoomies around the property and passed out on the porch. We cannot wait to come back.

Great location and great vibes

My wife and I stayed here with our baby and a friend, we had an excellent time. It's very comfortable and it's a great location, walking distance to everything you want in the area.

Leucadia Place, Encinitas CA

A lovely property, secluded, tranquil, peaceful with view of Pacific Ocean. Dwelling is well appointed with modern appliances. Owner was particularly attentive and gracious. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful Property

We loved our stay here! The area is very walkable. We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals. One thing that stood out about this one was the hospitality of the owner. Would definitely recommend.

Great Stay

The owner Jason was great! Communication was perfect and he also checked in us a few times to make sure our stay was going well. The location was perfect, you could walk down to restaurants in Leucadia within a few minutes

Relaxing Stay Near the Beach

Outstanding rental property for those traveling with pets! The house is walking distance from downtown Leucadia/Encinitas but on a quiet street. The property is huge, fully-fenced and well-landscaped with lots of fruit trees and a small garden. Partial ocean views throughout. Nicely furnished. Host was great. We loved our stay.

Took a short three day trip and found this amazing property on orbits. Honestly I did not know orbits rented entire homes! The owner of this property was easily the best property owner I have ever dealt with and i have rented many vacation homes. The house is beyond amazing and in a great area! My trip was a nightmare but only because of my turo rental. The owner helped me out when the vehicle broke down in the nearby mall, and offered to take me and pick up w battery for the rental! Incredibly thankful and happy I picked this property! I plan to stay at his rental again in the future and would suggest you DO NOT pass up on this property!! You will thank me later! Thank you for creating such an amazing space for people to stay on their vacations!

Beautiful home in an amazing location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The owner was very hospitable and great to communicate with. The home was very clean and had all the things we like to enjoy a vacation. The home was private and gated and on a hill with views of the ocean. Very close proximity to restaurants and the beach. We look forward to staying here again. We highly recommend this home!

Over rated

Don’t take kids , spiders , bugs , skunks and other animals running around the property they should do pest control once in awhile, Horrible TV service! Terrible uncomfortable Beds , left our vacation a night early because I could not take sleeping on that bed one more night! Then owner charging more money afterwards for additional pet fees ! Find somewhere else !

Pleasant stay

House was clean, very private setting. Dog enjoyed the big yard and all the new scents. Enjoyed my morning walks to moonlight beach and down Neptune street. Lots of bikes, walkers and surfers. Walk or drive to local restaurants. Would stay again!

great private getaway

Jason & Lilly are great hosts! They communicated with me to make sure our stay was enjoyable...& it was! Jason happened to be at the house when we arrived & gave us a little history about the house. The property was perfect for our doggies (even included them in the welcome sign!). The house is old, but has been tastefully remodeled & upgraded. The location is perfect for venturing out or exploring Leucadia & Encinitas. Hope to be back again!

Wonderful Chill Spot for Vivi and Us

❤️ Vivi's Chill Vacation Spot ❤️ Our family, including out dog Vivi, had a wonderful time staying in Encinitas on this lovely property. The home was very nice and it was such a wonderful situation to have a large fully fenced property with secured access only. The home had a very nice energy and it was easy to feel comfortable right away. IYKYK . The property is in a quiet area, but not far from the hustle and bustle of the beach, if that's what you prefer. Two of our days were a bit warm between 2 pm through 5 pm, so consider those temperature changes if you decide to walk or ride your bikes to PCH or onto the beach. The house has fantastic air flow for these warmer hours. There are also additional fans, if you enjoy lots of extra air flow. Definitely consider bringing or renting bikes; eBikes are rentable on PCH. We loved the kitchen, even though we didn't use the stove or oven. The home has all you'd need for pots, pans, utensils, etc., of you'd like to cook or bake. For us, who stock the refrigerator with a variety of drinks, cut fruit and other snacks for which the refrigerator was very roomy to add many things. If you are a big fan of cold water, regular ice and crushed ice, then you're also set. The orchard had the prettiest scent of citrus and orange flowers (blossoms?). It was really well fenced and safe for Vivi to explore. While we didn't see any squirrels or possums, we did see a small lizard and a neighborhood cat. We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It's a very safe property for your dog to visit and safely explore. We cater our trips for Vivi, so this property was A+ quality for her. We'd recommend bringing bikes for an easier beach access than walking or being brave enough to try to find car parking along the beach line. Definitely setup a UberEats and DoorDash account in advance; whether you place an order to pickup or for delivery from any of the restaurants. Most restaurants require orders to be placed through a food delivery third party like these two companies and have contactless options. Beach restaurants had lines out the door during the sunny beach weekend and we were able to get food delivery from busy restaurants in less than an hour with delivery. Lastly, Vons, Ralphs, Walmart and Target are less than 10 minutes away; learn where those are right away for anything you may need, including filling the refrigerator with drinks, snacks and ice cream.
