The oceanfront property was spotless and located in a residential neighborhood of Encinitas. Most of the living space was devoted to the living room and kitchen that had large windows with stunning views to the ocean. There are two outdoor decks adjacent to the water with plenty of seating, including chaise lounges. The property is beautifully landscaped. There are steps (I counted 109!) leading down a private wooden staircase to the beach. During low tide, there is a narrow stretch of sand, but there are public beaches nearby that are much better for laying out or surfing. I made good use of the Weber grill and the outdoor fire pit (gas). Plenty of restaurants, coffeehouses, stores are nearby, but I especially loved the fact that Neptune Ave is purely residential that lent a more relaxed vibe to the setting. I traveled by myself, but there is a tiny bedroom and a second large bathroom if you have another guest or children with you. A small carport serves as a spot for your vehicle, so I never had to search for a spot. I've rented many homes/apartments around the United States and the world, but this is definitely one of my favorites. Despite it being June, I had two days of sun and was able to view some beautiful sunsets. I'll be back!
