"It was just ok. Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation. In addition, the flat itself was frankly, filthy. "Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable."

"My colleague who stayed here said it was clean and beautifully decorated. It is about 1 min to Reading Town Centre. There is some mild traffic noise from the buses early morning but nothing to do with the property. This didn’t affect the stay and wasn’t noisy enough to disrupt any sleep. "Very comfortable overnight stay booked as were going to a music festival a few miles away and didn’t want to drive back home late at night . This was perfect . A nice welcome and check in/check out. We booked breakfast and it was delicious. The breakfast host was very welcoming as were the team in the restaurant . Having a gym was very useful. Bedrooms was nice and spacious and well maintained Iron and ironing board, hairdryer,plenty of power points and usb ports. Lots of wardrobe space and lighting inthe wardrobe . Bathroom had shower , which we prefer to a bath. Very quiet room. The only thing that I didn’t notice was a safe . Maybe it was hidden. A mini fridge would have been nice but not essential. all in all a very comfortable stay and we would definitely stay again when meeting friends or family from Bristol or Gloucester area. Or visiting the Cotswolds but not wanting to drive back to London. "
