Rich in beautifully restored buildings, traditions, and idyllic squares, the 1,200-year-old town of Emsbüren is a true gem in the center of the Münster-Osnabrück-Enschede.

There is a magical charm to the floodplains of the Ems River and the dense forests of the surrounding area. You can explore the extraordinary landscape on beautifully situated bike paths. At the Heimathof Emsbüren open-air museum, the town’s history comes alive. The medicinal herb garden is well worth a visit. Many other attractions can be included in tours through the eight districts: for example, the approximately 4,500-year-old Mehringen stone burial mound, the restored Enking’s Mill with its dark bread bakery, the Mehringer Heide Swin-Golf course, the bronze sculpture “Pastor sine Koh” in the historic town center, or the impressive Ems weir. “Herzog und Kumpan” invite groups to join a lively, boozy city tour.

“Emsflower,” Europe’s largest bedding plant production facility, is the new attraction in Emsbüren. The large visitor area offers fascinating insights into the production and logistics of this mega-company. Show gardens, tropical gardens, a plant shop, and dining options round out the experience.

Dear Guests,
we warmly welcome you to our vacation rental and wish you an eventful and relaxing stay!

With our accommodation, we aim to provide you with the foundation for carefree and relaxing days. To ensure this is always possible, it is necessary that our guests are familiar with and adhere to the house rules. By making your reservation, you accept these house rules and agree to ensure that you and all your traveling companions comply with them. We thank you in advance for your cooperation!

QUIET HOURS

In our vacation rental, public quiet hours—such as midday and Sunday quiet hours—must be observed. Out of consideration for others and to maintain good neighborly relations, quiet hours must also be observed daily between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.


SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in our vacation rental or anywhere in the building. Please go outside and use an ashtray there. Please dispose of completely cooled-down cigarette butts in the general waste. If any burn marks or holes occur, please report this to us, the landlord, immediately. As the tenant, you are responsible for covering the repair costs for any resulting damage.


INTERNET

Free internet access is available in our vacation rental. You will receive the access code upon arrival. Use of this internet access is at your own risk. We, as the landlord, assume no liability for any of your activities on the internet.





PETS

Pets are permitted in our vacation rental upon prior agreement and registration. Please ensure that your pet stays away from furniture, such as sofas or beds, while in the vacation rental. In addition, it is your responsibility to clean up any mess caused by your pet. Please also note that pets must be kept on a leash in certain areas of the house and the surrounding area.


VISITORS


For safety reasons,. If visitors are also staying overnight in the vacation rental, you must notify the landlord in advance. You can register visitors by phone or email. A fee of
20 euros will then be charged per visitor per night. Visitors must also comply with these house rules.


EVENTS AND PARTIES

Large events and parties are strictly prohibited. Any gathering of several people in our vacation rental must comply with the relevant provisions of these house rules.


WASTE SEPARATION AND DISPOSAL

Since we are required to separate waste, we ask that you also sort your trash in our vacation rental. Appropriate disposal options are available for organic waste, paper, plastic, general waste, and glass. New trash bags are also provided in the vacation rental, which you should use as needed. In addition, never flush food scraps, trash, or hygiene products down the toilet or other drains. Dispose of your trash exclusively in the designated bins.


SECURITY

For security reasons, all entrance doors to the vacation rental must be kept locked at all times. In addition, all entrance doors must be locked with the key when leaving the house. Windows should also be closed when leaving the vacation rental and at night. For fire safety, please ensure that escape routes are not blocked. Heating, lights, and other appliances should also always be turned off when not in use. This also applies to electrical appliances.

Ventilation
To prevent the spread of infection, it is necessary to ventilate the vacation rental adequately. To do this, open the windows several times a day for 5 to 10 minutes. This effectively prevents mold growth.

Outdoor Area
Outdoor items, such as umbrellas or similar items, must be closed during strong winds and overnight to prevent damage and ensure your safety.

Barbecue/Fireplace
Open-flame equipment may only be used by adults. For fire safety reasons, please also refrain from barbecuing with charcoal or flammable accelerants. Once cooled, dispose of the ashes and other debris in the general waste.

PARKING

During your stay with us at the vacation rental, appropriately marked parking spaces for your car. Please make sure that you do not block other vehicles, neighbors, or sidewalks when parking. Please also note that, as the rental company, we are not liable for vehicles parked in the parking lot or their contents.


CLEANING

You are responsible for cleaning the vacation rental yourself during your stay. This is not included in the final cleaning service. The necessary cleaning supplies and equipment are available in the vacation rental for your use. There are also some cleaning tasks to be completed before departure. These are listed in the “Check-in and Check-out” section.


DAMAGE

Any damage caused to the vacation rental must be reported to the landlord as soon as possible. We cannot accept claims for damage discovered only after your departure. In the case of minor damage, such as a broken glass, we as the landlord will cover the cost of replacement. However, you, as the renter, are liable for major damage to the furnishings or the vacation rental. To prevent damage, please refrain from moving furniture and avoid other potential sources of danger.


KEYS


Upon arrival, you will receive 1 key to the vacation rental. Please never let the keys out of your possession. If you lose the keys, please report this to us immediately. A fee of 90 euros will be charged for the cost of replacing the keys, which you, as the renter, are responsible for paying.

ARRIVAL- AND DEPARTURE


To ensure that the vacation rental is perfectly prepared for our guests, you may check in on the day of arrival starting at 3:00 p.m.

On the day of departure, the vacation rental must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. and left in proper condition. This includes:

0 Empty the refrigerator and wipe it down
0 Wash the dishes and return them to their proper places once dry
0 Dispose of any remaining food
0 Dispose of household trash in the designated trash bins
0 Clean any appliances and facilities used, if necessary
0 Tidy away any furniture used
0 Turn off all electrical appliances (except the refrigerator)
0 Sweep the rooms you used in the vacation rental
0 Lock all doors


These house rules are intended to ensure that you can enjoy as pleasant and safe a stay as possible in our vacation rental. Compliance with these house rules is therefore essential. A violation of these house rules constitutes a breach of the rental terms set forth in the lease agreement. We ask that you observe these rules and wish you a relaxing stay and a wonderful time with us!
