Enjoy a unique farmstay experience in a private fully furnished upstairs apartment over an alpaca barn. Summer can be hot and know there is no A/C. 2 ceiling fans and 2 box fans provided. Open windows at night to let cool air in and close in the morning. Learn about our huacaya alpacas, dairy goats, chickens, ducks and barn cats and chance wildlife sightings of deer, turkey, elk or black bear! West Creek Rails to Trails abuts the farm and on clear nights experience dark skies stargazing from the deck.Unique off-the-grid stay exploring the wonders of the Pennsylvania Wilds. Expect farm noises (rooster might go off as early as 3:00 AM) and smells...Summer can be hot and know there is no A/C. 2 ceiling fans and 2 box fans provided. We had fun looking at stars, relaxing, and watching the alpacas. There were goats, chickens, and a cat named Loki. He was fed well.Everything was not very far away. The landscape was absolutely stunning. Beautiful time of year!

Super relaxing. Loved the roosters crowing and the little orange welcome kitty. Pet friendly was refreshing. NO TV was the best surprise! The cool air at night made for a great nights sleep!

This was a pleasant surprise. The unit is spacious, clean and well-appointed. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really loved the star-gazing opportunity and, of course, the animals. My doggos loved the aromas of the farm :) Thank you so much for a great adventure. Only minus was my own fault since I didn't focus on how far the unit was from State College.

We had the most wonderful stay with Robin and the crew. We were lucky enough to help her milk one of her goats. The night’s were beautifully cool and beds were comfy. It was so peaceful just the break from busy suburban life we needed.

My husband and I enjoyed this cute little unit as a getaway during our visit to Emporium. The farm is very scenic and is located right along the West Creek Rail Trail - which I highly recommend for biking or jogging! The farm animals were very amusing to watch.We were here in July, and as the listing mentions, there was no AC. Thankfully it was overcast, but it was still pretty warm for us. Other should keep that in mind when visiting.Robin was very communicative and accommodating, working with her was super easy. We would stay here again!

Alpacas, Goats, Cats, Ducks and a Rooster- Perfect Farm Getaway!

We stayed here instead of Benezettte to see the animals! Anything you’d need is there. We didn’t have any issue with the slight smell and honestly I hate all smells and only noticed it the first time we walked in! The STARS!! Amazing! The rooster woke us up but what do you expect on a farm haha! Robyn is very kind, friendly and helpful!

It is a farm so you have to be prepared for farm animals and smells. Very nice little apartment. We had a comfortable stay.

Disappointed

We saw one review that mentioned something about the animal smell upstairs, but thought they might have been a "city sleeker". My wife and I both grew up on a farm so we can handle some animal smell, but the animal smell was horrible upstairs. We ended up going to a motel instead. I was able to contact Robin about the smell. I did give a few suggestions to try to minimize the smell. They did refund us most of the money, which we very much appreciated!

Alpacas!

Everything great. We arrived in the dark and fumbled with the lack of lighting. We are older and not as nimble as we once were :) A light on by the side door would have been terrific. Loved flipping on light and seeing the kiddos! Thanks!

Great getaway

Quiet mountain out of the way area. Watching & interacting w the animals was a relaxing +++. Orange cat made us feel like home he's a keeper... Property owner was very nice and got my hubby to milk a goat which I never thought he would do. would go back in a heartbeat.. TYTYTY
