Nyton Hotel was welcoming, staff helpful, very clean, comfy beds, Oldy Worldy, excellent breakfast and I would definitely stay again.
Easy walk to town when coming out of Nyton and turn right.
A hotel and proprietor with character. The staff were very friendly, the food was terrific and the bed was comfortable. There is an air of Fawlty Towers, which is a good thing!

ALAW
We had anbe excellent 3 days at the Nyton, very welcoming warm staff, bedrooms were basic but adequate, breakfast and evening meals were excellent.
Would love to be able to give a higher rating because there is lots of amenities in room the staff were friendly room serviced daily free WiFi lovely big garden birds and trees and in a great position to explore Ely. It was quiet and dark.
Unfortunately the place stinks of stale cigarettes which as a non smoker with heart and lung conditions is very off-putting and means I wouldn't stay here again. The room was very dusty with questionable stains on the carpet and linen and yellowing paintwork. There was black mould in the shower. My bathroom was tiny but adequate. The bed base looked like it was made of wooden pallets.
It is rather dated and in need of a deep clean and a refurbishment.
It could be excellent with a little tlc.

It was clean & breakfast was good. The property was fine, a little dated but it needs a refurb. Location was suoerb.Shower over bath went very hot & I was unable to adjust it.
Just a very pleasant one night stay in a clean and comfortable room with an excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.

Nyton Hotel
Convenient to town centre. No lights on driveway, which made entry at night difficult. A 'tired' hotel, beds were comfortable but there was mould in the shower room. Excellent breakfast, a nice dining room
Lovely guest house with all the required facilities. Comfortable bed with crisp clean sheets. Room temperature was good and quiet (apart from people in the corridor). Good selection at breakfast. Interesting history of the 100 year old building whilst chatting with one of the staff.

The Nyton is an older property, and has all the problems that come with that. Our host was very amenable, and the food was A1. Our room was big enough and the bed was very comfortable. The garden is large and there are several animal visitors to watch for. Fine for a stopover or short stay.
