The royal burgh and parish of Fife is an agricultural community positioned alongside the salmon fishing waters of the River Tay, overlooking the marshy Mugdrum Island. Though the village of Newburgh may be small, there are many treasures drawing in visitors; the remains of Macduff's Cross are a historical landmark to discover, Newburgh Sailing Club and Laing Museum featuring antiquarian artefacts of Newburgh's Alexander Laing.
