Country Get Away 1 Bedroom Apartment

1 Bedroom apartment w/private bath, kitchenette, and deck. Attached to main house with shared parking and a walkway to private entry. Also on-property trails through the woods and a rustic cabin at the creek for a relaxing nature experience. On the way to the cabin, enjoy watching the horses & goats. WiFi service available but it is not broadband. No cable. Cell service can be limited at times. Linens/towels included. Kitchenette includes microwave, minifridge & Keurig coffee machine

Perfect Getaway In the Country!

We had a nice getaway in the country with easy access to the busier areas. The large room and bath were very clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely stay there again and hope to have time to walk the trails and talk to the goats and horses.

The apartment is inviting and very comfortable. Very nice little outside patio for early morning reading. Pleasant trail to a cabin and a creek. The owner has done a good job of creating a secluded feeling just minutes from the highway.

I almost don't want to tell anyone else about this place! It was so clean, so quiet, check-in was a breeze, thoughtfulness of the owners leaving a few water bottles and snacks was great, bed was SO comfy, bathroom fully stocked and roomy, I just can't say enough great things about this place. It was the perfect getaway that I needed!

Country Charm

We were only at the property for a short time and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The apartment and property are very charming and comfortable. Communication with host was excellent. Only regret is we did not get to explore the property as much as we would have liked…. Maybe next time😀

Nice country retreat

This rental was private and peaceful. Wonderful shower/bathtub with plenty of towels and dual sinks. Convenient Keurig and comfy bed. The view is lovely with a tranquil scene behind the house. It was a rainy weekend and we didn't take full advantage of the outside space, but we will next time. The C&D canal mixed-use path in Chesapeake City would be great for a bike ride and dinner at the Chesapeake Inn is not to be missed!

If you want a tranquil and relaxing country setting while being within 10 minutes of Newark, Delaware's industrial parks, then this is the place! I had a pleasant stay at this very clean and comfortable one bedroom apartment. The bed is on the firm side (which I prefer). Nothing is immediately nearby, but that's part of the country atmosphere. Again, Newark with all its shopping and restaurants, is an easy 10-minute drive. I've just talked myself into it .... and booked another stay.

Awesome Escape!

Very comfy, clean and private. We loved the setup. Country setting less than 10 mins from Chesapeake City. Just what we wanted. We enjoyed our walks on the trails of the property to visit the goats and the horses. The cabin In the woods, the little bridges over the creek and all the birds visiting the many bird feeders made such a serene escape. The hosts provided snacks, water bottles and most importantly coffee 😊 They answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!
