This is a property under renovation… so sections are “under rehabbing”. Staff is great and efficient… but still areas are quite dated and out of commission.

We entered at door/gate 2. The smell was terrible while waiting for the elevator & lasted the 2 days we were there. The elevator had crackers all over the floor and piece of clear plastic 12 in x 4 in on it. Later that nite I met the man desk clerk using the elevator, when we cked out the mess and smell was still there. We found hair in the bathroom, the windows had hand prints all over them. The evening male desk clerk told me there no sodas nor candy available when I walked down to get a soda. It was one of the worst motels I had ever stayed. Certainly not one by the HILTON name on it. You need to cut ties with the Spark???????

The whole place was clean, the hvac in our room worked great, breakfast was good and fresh. There were no obscure smells or weird stains on anything that I could see. When visiting Bardstown again, I’ll be staying here.

Worst stay ever at a Hilton property. Issues at check-in with rooms ( two different offers) being shampooed, next room change did not meet our ADA requirements, fourth room was cramped and did not feel clean. It should not have taken 90 minutes to get a room. Shower needed help. Toilet required several flushes to clear. Front desk personnel was friendly, but hands were tied. Keep hearing that all rooms were booked, yet parking lot was empty. Off site manager offered to "give me points" for the trouble. Has not happened. Canceled the five night stay that evening and left in the morning. Spark has not notified Expedia of my change. No refund has occurred. Was able to find accommodations on short notice at a competitor and enjoyed the rest of our stay in Bardstown.

Our stay was good. We stayed for the weekend to visit some distilleries. We booked from Hotels for a king bed but got put into a two queen room due to them being full. We were told that since we booked through a third party, we don’t get our preference. Staff was nice and apologetic about the room situation. Breakfast was nice - fresh fruit cup, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal with lots of toppings, pastries. We would stay there again.

They recently had a Fire and Water leak. We were not notified that there wouldn’t be breakfast due to the damage. We chose this hotel for that reason. Notifications should have been sent to us so we could chose to change our reservation.

The interior looked like it was under renovation. There were long strands of black hair in several places in the shower. Collected dirt particles behind the bathroom door. The pillows were rounded and very uncomfortable. We walked outside to get to the main entrance for coffee for breakfast. The breakfast items were not fresh nor tasty. With the name of Hilton behind Sparks was definitely not up to Hilton standards and very disappointing.

I think the breakfast bar could have been kept a little bit cleaner since there was a lot of kids.For whatever reason, this weekend at the facility. Overall everything was amazing. I don't believe though that the staff should be outside at the entrance.Smoking. p s you may want to change the sign on 245 to read ,Sparks by Hilton. The old one is still up that says Hampton. Inn, by Hilton.. that sign is very dirty and hard to read.
