「We had 14 people stay for a business retreat. Each had their own bedroom and bathroom. We gathered in the great room for our meeting, experienced cooking together and a ‘family dinner’ around the big table. We hiked as our activity and enjoyed a bonfire too. We went into galena one evening for dinner - just a quick 20 minute drive. We enjoyed our short stay and would consider returning.」

「This home was so well maintained. I love the little things like having everything labeled and instructions for the heating and cooling system. We also appreciated the quality of the kitchen/cooking tools (pots/pans etc.) and the mattress. This house lacked absolutely nothing! The owner kept great contact with us. 「This vacation stay was a celebration for the 70th birthday of one of 6 sisters. We arrived on Memorial Day and left on the following Friday. We did go into Galena every day for part of the day but spent much of our time chatting, making puzzle and watching "chick flicks". It was a great way to spend time with sisters that I love dearly. The sleeping space was great and we appreciated having three separate baths. Would definitely consider a return trip!」

「The property was absolutely beautiful and the location was exceptionally private. My husband and I stayed four nights, mainly as an opportunity to relax, reset and enjoy each other, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. 「We had a perfect weekend for three friends from grade school to reconnect. The weather was perfect and the house was perfect. There were three bedrooms on three different floors, a deck to view nature, and a large kitchen table to eat, play games and laugh. The host was wonderful and sent suggestions ahead of time. Their home was well stocked and very comfortable. We had a picnic at Galena vineyards, shopped main street, ate at Galena brewery and did the Goat trek! We would love to come back...

「Overall it was fabulous! Only drawback was we had a issue with a toilet and notified the owner who responded promptly, yet the maintenance was not able to enter the property because we were out enjoying ourselves, not leaving our key in the lockbox. A suggestion would be that the maintenance/owner have access to another key besides what is given to their guests…..and if so would have rated all 5 stars.」

「We loved the condo for our Family's Bachelorette Weekend! Bedroom perfect for 7 girls and 3 full bathrooms. Big dining room table for us to play games at night. Good price for what we got. 「Beds were great, we all slept great. Very quite location, small ant problem and lower level tub could use a better cleaning. It may have not been rented for a while, there was dead bugs in tub and on floors. A review awhile back said that the coffee maker took forever to brew, I would agree that it needs a new one. But overall great stay.」

「Since it was the Marriott the property has really improved. There is a bar now and a sumptuous breakfast was served. There is now an elevator where there wasn't one before. The beds are quite comfortable and there is housekeeping each day. The staff was quite courteous, except the checkout person was quite cold. i wanted to talk about our great stay but I don't think I would have been too well received. 」
