"Our first overnight stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express hotel, but probably will not be our last. The whole interior of the hotel including the reception area, bar and restaurant area, communal areas and especially the rooms have all been refurbished, and apparently fairly recently, to a very good standard. There is plenty of parking available at a cost of £4 per 24 hours. From the reception desk staff to the bar and reception staff, they are all extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed including an iron and ironing board. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was very quiet and extremely clean. The only disappointment was the wafer thin toilet rolls. The bar and restaurant area is also very spacious and comfortable. We ordered a pizza which was delicious and hot. The same area is used to serve breakfast which was plentiful, hot and a good choice of hot and cold dishes. "

"The lady that met us open check in was very friendly & welcoming . She showed us to our room and said anything we need to just ask . Comfortable room everything you need my only one criticism could do with a mini fridge to put water etc in . Shower was great . Very nice stay would definitely come again "

Didn’t Really have to go anywhere, close to town with shops, and lovely country walks! Would definitely return soon and bring our children with us! "

"Simple yet totally comfortable new build in a new development. Can’t find fault with anything as it’s all brand new. Best shower and bed we had during our 2 week trip of the 5 places we’ve stayed!!!! We came with our 2 teenage grandsons and it worked out great for all of us!We stayed as a base for Dover."
