「The hotel is situated off the beaten track and it was very peaceful there, which is just what we were looking for. The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable, we also had a patio with a lovely double sun lounger. The bathroom was fantastic with a very spacious shower. 「We were given a different room than we booked (same price but smaller), with natural light only coming through the door (this is pretty normal in the area but not great in winter). Shower wasn’t great as the door didn’t close properly and the water didn’t flow well. Service was a bit impersonal with little explanation of the grounds. Staff didn’t seem to particularly care about guests. Overall ok for the price but wouldn’t come back.」

「The set-up for the room was definitely interesting. Right at the front entrance there's a landing area to put your bags and a little coffee counter, and the bathroom. The bedroom was up a very narrow set of circular stairs. The quarters were set up nicely considering the vertical layout, but we found it a bit tight. Going down those stairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night would not be ideal if you're not very able bodied. The staff was over the top wonderful, helpful and communicative...
