We've installed a top-rated, extremely comfortable Leesa king mattress for your sleeping pleasure. The Treehouse also enjoys high speed fiber wifi internet with an Amazon Fire TV. This spacious 1 bedroom lofts above the trees, giving you a birds eye view of the stunning perennial gardens and walking paths of Plum Bottom Gallery, a Door county art destination. The Treehouse offers a full kitchen, living room and dining room with Internet and satellite cable tv.
Nestled in the heart of the County, The Treehouse is the perfect jumping off point for your Door County adventure. Discover 2 Beaches, 3 local wineries, 4 antique malls, the County's highest ranked golf course, a petting farm, and a coffee bistro all within a 5 minute drive. 5 miles to the north lands you in downtown Egg Harbor(Best Small Town in Wisconsin-Wisconsin Trails Magazine), home to some of the best restaurants and shopping in the County. Looking for a night out on the town - 4 Professional theatre's are all within a 20 minute drive. The Treehouse's greatest asset is its Off the Beaten Path attitude! Cyclists will enjoy the least traffic and best country roads in the County. Spend an afternoon in the sunshine meandering through the private prairie paths and explore Plum Bottom's 20 acres. A 300 acre nature preserve(Door County Land Trust) is just a short walk through the woods.
The Treehouse occupies the entire second floor(private entrance) of Plum Bottom Gallery, voted Best Gallery in Door County. Gallery staff is available between 10-5pm should any need arise during your stay. Come to The Treehouse and experience all Door County has to offer.

VRBO request that you message the owners. So I messaged them with a responce of our 34th wedding anniversary. Their message back was a cut and paste. Asking me to read their rules signing them. My name was added to the response. Maybe a little selfish, but a simple "Happy Anniversary" would of felt welcomed I than messaged them (knowing that this area is more of a summer attraction) wondering if there are, if any, things we would be interested in doing. Again a cut and paste long list. The list was around ninty-five persent summer activities. The winter ones included, ice skating and places to go sledding down hills. Being married 34 years counts those activities out. Even though I didn't specify, but I kind of was looking for super clubs or older kids things to do. We did go to all 4 of their art galleries (which was a first for me). I was deeply impressed and their employees were very polite and pleasant to talk with. The place we stayed at was well maintained and clean. It was comfortable and a perfect place for a quick getaway. The pictures included a hot tub, and that I was what I looking for. I was prepared with soaking salts, scented candle, a glass of chilled wine and soft Christian music for my bride of 34 years. To my disappointment there was a sign, Do Not Use Hot Tub.As you walked in there was a detailed cleaning list to follow, incuding garbage and dishes that we did This was the first VRBO of many that I could not give a full 5 stars, sorry.Weldon and Lana

We had a lovely time at the treehouse. I inadvertently left the entrance instructions at home. Chad was quick to respond to my voicemail and met us at the property to give us a printout of recommendations during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. We woke Saturday morning to snow and it snowed on and off all day. The driveway was plowed and the stairs and landing were shoveled before we finished our morning coffee. It is a very peaceful, beautiful setting and we would definitely stay there again.

The Treehouse is a great stay. It is quiet, spacious and well accommodated. You will take a nice staircase up and will enjoy the views theough treetops through nice windows. The kitchen has ample utensils. The King size bed is comfortable. The Treehouse has the comforts of home.Winter is a quiet time in Door County. Plan ahead when visiting shops and restaurants for their hours. Those we visited were enjoyed.

Beautiful treehouse and location

The treehouse served us well during our stay. Centrally located to Egg Harbor, Bailey’s Harbor and Sturgeon Bay. Door Cty was a great destination with tons of dining, hiking and wildflowers (mid May). Treehouse was very clean with plenty of room for the 2 of us. Fun to wander the gallery below. Recommend!

Great location. I did feel the need to report a lamp head damaged prior to our stay. What a beautiful venue. Host was very helpful when we got in a panic at entry time. Lol. We enjoyed the nature and solitude.

Just as described

Had a great long weekend stay with everything we needed to be comfortable. The host was flexible and accommodating as the dates we originally booked had to change and they made the adjustment easy for us. The place was stocked with all the necessary essentials. This is not a place to stay if you want to walk around from. It’s a drive to get to around to most places but we wanted the privacy and we were okay with driving. Great stay. Thank you!

A Winter Weekend at Plum Bottom Gallery

We happened to have stayed a February weekend that literally started to snow when pulled in the drive until we headed home. "The Treehouse" was cozy and warm like a winter den. We ventured out for a day of snowshoeing at Oak Road Conservancy just around the corner from here and loved the peace of new snow on the pines, that place is bigger than it looks.We will definitely recommend Plum Bottom to our friends

Hanging Out

I used the apartment as a getaway spot for catching up on work and reading -- not as a base for Door-County activities, though I did get out every day for a while -- so my needs and interests probably weren't typical for people renting for short stays. The apartment is generally comfortable, with a kitchen fine for basic cooking, furniture allowing choices for relaxation, and a nice, well-lit dining area convenient to kitchen -- otherwise a little dark for my taste, except for the spacious bedroom. Bedroom closet offers plenty of storage space. On my arrival, everything had clearly been well cleaned, with plenty of towels and blankets easily available. What the listing doesn't mention is a stairway leading directly from the apartment down to the gallery on the ground floor, which allows for the voices of those working in the gallery during the day to intrude somewhat. On the other hand, the setting gets you well away from any traffic noises. The owners and the gallery-folk I encountered couldn't have been nicer. All in all, I was pleased with my stay.

Great cozy place in the middle of everything

Great cozy place with a centralized location to all of Door County. Great value. Could use some minor updates. Some buttons on microwave no longer work and jacuzzi tub no longer works, but those are minor things to us. Would stay here again.

Perfect tree house in the garden

Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. The apartment was clean & well equipped. All instructions were clear & in printed out. Wonderful setting, calm, peaceful & beautiful. An art gallery below with amazing art inside & out. Water fountain & a perfect place to relax. We walked the driveway for exercise. The stars are bright out in the country. We absolutely LOVED this place!!!

This place is perfect for a weekend gateway. All the essentials are provided and everything is between 10 to 20 mins away. My favorite part was only being 5 mins away from door county coffee company. Best coffee Ever. Highly recommend for a weekend away to relax.

Loved it!

This apartment was the perfect getaway. Super clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet! Egg Harbor is just a few minutes away but the unit is completely surrounded by farms and woods. Definitely will be back!

Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse. We were surprised at how large it was. We loved all the little pieces of art work around the rooms. Although the location is a little off the beaten path it was gorgeous. We loved the shop beneath the Treehouse unit and could have spent a lot of money there.
