I returned to this property for the second consecutive year, but brought some friends for a girls-only week this time! This perfect beach house was just as wonderful as I'd remembered it from last year. Sitting right on the ocean, the waves can be heard at all times, the sunrise can be viewed by sitting on the porch, and you can even see dolphins playing not far off the beach.
We had plenty of bed and bath linens, and it was so nice to have the washer and dryer so we didn't have to pack too many clothes. We cooked many of our meals while there, and we had all the pots/pans/utensils/dinnerware that we needed. Do bring along, or plan to buy at the local Food Lion, pretty much ALL of your paper supplies. We had to buy t.p., paper towels, kitchen trash bags, hand soap, and dish soap because there was not enough there for the three of us for the week. The water filtration system (and ice maker!) is amazing...no need to buy bottled water, and we never ran out of hot water in the shower. The only issue we had was that the t.v. remote was nowhere to be found, so we couldn't use any of the Smart TV capabilites, nor watch any of the DVDs we brought (couldn't change the input on the t.v. to recognize the DVD player). The owner said they were going to be replacing that, though, when we contacted her about it. No matter....there were LOTS of other fun things to pass the time while we vacationed in this wonderful island property. Hope to be back again next year!
