We loved our stay here. It was close to the city center and had a bus stop right out front that made it easy to get anywhere we needed. Several shops and food options near by. Two wonderful days in Edinburgh

We enjoyed our stay at Sherwood Guest House a lot. The room is a bit small, but really comfortable with a cooker and free tea and coffee. There's also a microwave, which we didn't use, but anyway great. Vivienne is an extremely kind, open minded and helpful host. The breakfast was also very, very good. There's a super bus connection right outside the house.We can do nothing but highly recommend Sherwood Guest House.

Our host, Vivienne, was phenomenal! The Sherwood house is a beautiful property and obviously well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we had a large bathroom in our room. There is a bus stop just a few feet from the property. We will definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sheerwood Guesthouse in Edinburgh. The room was small but very cozy, spotlessly clean, and so thoughtfully equipped — even with water and snacks waiting for us. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread, fresh and plentiful. Vivienne was a fantastic host, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even more special. The atmosphere of the guesthouse reminded me of one of those perfect hotels in an Agatha Christie novel — except without the horror and murder, of course! Both the room and the guesthouse overall felt carefully designed and exceptionally well equipped. I would happily come back again and again. Thank you for everything, Vivienne — wishing you all the very best!
