    It's a unique concept but wish the property was more well cared for and that they don't cram that many people in the space. It feels a bit like a slum. Twelve people, six bunk beds are a lot for such a tight space. The room smells. And bathroom + kitchen + common space get so overused that it seems to be always dirty

    Great place to stay during the fringe

    By far the cheapest place to stay in Edinburgh during the fringe! Obviously it’s not the most luxurious place in the world but it was a friendly atmosphere and the facilities were perfectly fine. Free parking in Edinburgh was also a big bonus.

    Hotel décevant, loin du centre

    Nous ne sommes pas restés à l'hôtel au vue des locaux dont l'état de propreté ne correspondait pas à nos critères. Le personnel était très accueillant et n'a posé aucune condition sur le fait que nous ne restions pas sur place. Hotel conseillé aux jeunes ou routards endurcis sans aucun jugement. Petit conseil au propriétaire, il pourrait peut être investir dans une tonnelle un peu plus grande et conséquente pour la cour intérieure commune. Dans un pays pluvieux ou le réconfort est sans doute, dans un hôtel un lieu ou on peut se protéger de la pluie. PS : Le bureau de réception est à l'abri, les clients sous la pluie pour l'enregistrement !!!

    Does a good job for the Fringe

    Cheap, easy and great for the fringe. Really nice staff. It is out of the city so you have to get a cab or bus but that was fine

    Worth to TRY.

    It is new kind of backpacking experience, but defo worth to try. Place is nice, staff is very helpful and everything is OK. Highly reccomend

    The outside of the hostel looks a wee bit sketchy. Once inside your perception will change. The people and staff were very welcoming. Containers hostel was quite the experience. Many could say it is a hidden gem.

    이름대로 정말 컨테이너 안에 있는 2층침대에서 자는 숙소입니다. 그리고 결제가 호텔스닷컴이 아닌 현장에서 이뤄지므로 알아두셔야 할 것 같아요. 생각보다 깨끗한 편이긴 한데... 씻는것도 화장실도 전부 컨테이너에서 해야 합니다. 뜨거운물이 안나오는 부스도 있구요 그냥 하루 자긴 괜찮습니다

    pretty well self contained

    pretty good. clean dorms. nice vibe. it is a bit rough n ready but it's shipping containers! nice atmosphere too. events most nights so good social. chill out zone, indoors and out and gaming consoles for some old school Mario kart action

    Great chill hostel with friendly staff

    Stayed only a night at the hostel with a group of friends before an early morning flight. Very welcoming with everyone being friendly and respectful of each other. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chat or a hang out with some nice people while visiting the city. It not be the most beautiful place on the outside but once you enter the hostel it's like a mini community and you can forget that you are in the middle of the city.

    Very pleasant stay

    Was a pretty nice stay no issues at all, room and other areas all clean, little bit basic but exactly what you expect lovely staff and other guests, but be pre warned if you want peaceful and quiet early nights then this may not be the pace for you, Overall was a very nice time thanks

    Minute of despiration

    It is exactly what it sounds like - a number of containers crammed with as many bunk beds as could fit. RIckety, dirty and not very comfortable. It is made slightly better with relentless drinking and socialising that is done during the day and well into the night, as the owner operator is a very welcoming host. Otherwise, the linen is dirty, no towels, bathrooms are scary after the night before.

    + nettes Personal und herzlicher Empfang + bequeme Betten und frische Bettwäsche zum selber überziehen + perfekt, wenn man neue Leute kennenlernen will + Bus ins Zentrum in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar + Aldi ums Eck zum günstigen einkaufen - in den duschen ist es sehr kalt, aber damit muss man in einem Container fast rechnen - es macht viel Lärm, wenn die anderen Leute in den Schlafsaal kommen - natürlich gibt es welche die nehmen mehr Rücksicht! - wenn richtig gefeiert wird ist es recht laut

    The idea is good, but the execution was very poor. Far too many bunks in each pod with little or no light, especially in the corners. Very little security, in fact none as any Tom, Dick or Harry could walk onto the site and into the pods with no problems. Although the ground was covered in " astro turf " it was clearly very wet and damp in most places and there were also various smells emanating from various area's.

    ８月に４日間滞在しました。名前の通り「コンテナ」でホテルが形成されています。大きな空き地の隅にあり、看板もないので分かりにくいですが、市内から１１番のバスに乗るとホテルの目の前が終着点になっているので見つけやすいかと思います。 １０代後半から２０代前半の若い方ばかりで（私が滞在した時は）正直、みなさんマナーが悪かったです。キッチンの皿は片付けない、ベッドの周りに私物やゴミをまき散らす、深夜に大声で話す……などなど。皆さんほんとに元気が良く、フロントの前の広場で毎晩４時ごろまで宴会に勤しんでいました。これも若さのパワーです。エディンバラの街で、活力ある若者達とふれあい（国際交流？）したいのなら、いい宿かもしれません。ただ、私には合いませんでした。 部屋（コンテナ）に、窓はありません。一度ドアを閉めると暗闇と化しますので、日が昇っても部屋は真っ暗。２段ベッドのマットが厚く心地いいこともあってか、いつまでも快適に寝ることができます。 なお、鍵なしで部屋に入ることができるので、セキュリティのレベルは最悪です。ロッカーは有料です。 Wi-Fiはキッチンと談話室でのみ使用することができます。

    Good value hostel

    For a hostel made of shipping containers it's more comfortable than you'd expect. The staff are friendly and it's generally good value. The only problems were the reception was often unattended and the bedding wasn't completely clean.
