Train access into Edinburgh from Kirknewton, 3 miles, makes for a perfect car free day in this beautiful, vibrant city, where there is year round entertainment. While nearby there is the climbing centre at Ratho, the grand houses of Hopetoun and the House of the Binns, and further afield you reach Perth, Stirling or the villages of Fife and East Lothian within an hour. There are lovely walks and cycle routes from the doorstep, as well as several pubs, restaurants and a monthly farmer’s market in Balerno, with golf, fishing and riding nearby too. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Lovely barn loft situated in the country, but close to Curriehill train station that provides super easy access to Dublin. Would very happily stay here again!
