This is a quiet, secluded cottage with an “up-north” feel. You’ll be surrounded by nature with booming trees and limestone walls. The cottage is located on the Rock River with access to Lake Koshkonong.

This place is truly amazing! My sisters and myself stayed here to have a get together and to honor our sister that had passed away almost 2 yrs ago. We had such a fabulous time roasting marshmallows, bonfires, grilling out and just talking around the fire. Ventured out and antiqued and went to the winery close by. The cottage was so relaxing, clean and so welcoming, secluded feeling. The driveway lol was steep, and there is 74 steps down to boat launch which we also enjoyed and joked about. The host responded quickly to questions I had about the rental. My sisters and I plan on making this our vacation place yearly.

We enjoyed our stay. The porch was our favorite place to sip wine and watch the birds. The cottage was very clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome. We highly recommend and will be back! We also enjoyed many of the wineries in the area

We had an awesome week playing games, hiking nearby with kids, fishing off the dock and took a day trip to the Dells. There was plenty of space for our family of six but if you are planning on using the loft in the two bedrooms it’s a good idea to bring sleeping pads. Definitely would recommend to friends or family looking for a place in the area.

The house was super cute and clean. A couple of suggestions I would make is to have more toilet paper than a single roll. Also, the road was not marked at all, and looked more like a driveway. The first property on the road had lots of “keep out” signs posted, so it very much felt like we were going the wrong way. Otherwise, our stay was great!

Piece of Paradise

Every detail was thought of down to hair ties in the bathroom !The view was beautiful . So many outdoor seating options, we had to use them all!I loved the living room windows with the view of the trees and birds, then the screened in porch to sit and have morning coffee while listening to the birds. It was clean , cool and comfortable. 800 stars from this guest!

A hidden gem on the Rock River!

If you want a cute, quaint, and a relaxing getaway, this is a perfect spot! Spent 2 nights here after my wedding with my wife and it was amazing. Quiet, peaceful, and an overall amazing cottage. We will definitely be coming back here for a getaway from the city.

Beautiful home!

We had an amazing time, everything was perfect. Immaculately clean, well stocked kitchen prep inventory, cozy screened in porch for morning coffee and reading, sitting down on the pier, and windows all around added to this beautiful space. Relaxed in the quietness of it all. Thank you, we will be booking it again soon!

Delightful

This is a really lovely cottage. We were in town as part of an extended family event, and this was a was great place to recharge and served as a terrific home base. There are so many lovely spaces to hang out in, with many lovely details. The hydrangeas are almost about to bloom and I can tell that it will be even more beautiful

Beautiful Tranquility

This property was exactly as advertised. They should add that you are able to see eagles from the decking flying overhead. You are tucked into the tree tops. The house was clean and had everything needed for our stay. The perfect location to enjoy time with friends. A sizeable living room and kitchen. Bedrooms were small, but adequate room for everything. Lots of outdoor living space with screened in sun room and greenhouse that was cozy to sit in at night. Lots of seating around the campfire too.

Perfection

This was exactly what we were looking for: private, clean, relaxing, and close enough to explore the Madison area. There are lofts in two of the bedrooms. Sleeping in the lofts was a trip highlight for my kids! I recommend air mattresses if you want to use the lofts for sleeping. We had everything we needed for cooking dinner and breakfasts, and plenty of towels and bedding for six people. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful and relaxing place to spend some time away. The house is very nice inside with great views of the sunrise and we loved the kitchen. The greenhouse outside was a great place to hang out in the cold weather, and the patio halfway down the hill to the river was an amazing spot to relax in the trees and listen to the birds. The host was very helpful and responsive, our whole experience was great.

Delightful getaway!

The house is adorable and I already want to book another stay at this perfectly wonderful house! Pictures are accurate of the rooms and space, and if anything, they don’t fully convey how delightful the space and the way the space flows so nicely all together-it really is a lovely space, in every room there are details and comfort considered. Cozy blankets, tissues available, binoculars for bird watching, etc. The rooms are tidy and yet cozy, warm decor, with multiple group seating areas. Easy to get on wifi. Easy to communicate with the owner on quick questions. The kitchen has the basics covered. The beds were super comfy. I wish there was either one more stool or more kitchen table chairs to make sharing a meal easier. The house is positioned in proximity to two other houses, and it’s quiet and still in the area-no noise from the road at all. Peaceful and lovely to sit on the porch or in the greenhouse, with loads of trees, birds, and the river below.
