「Really great place to stay to take the day to explore the area. Easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. We found a great place to have dinner in downtown Edenton and have a few drinks and then had just enough time to walk to the waterfront and catch the sunset. We had requested a bottle of wine for our return and were able to take that and watch the traffic go by on the large front porch during the evening. 「The plantation was friendly and interesting, a bit more out of our way than we expected. Very friendly people, we did not eat the breakfast as we wanted to get an early start and they had not made breakfast at 8am. Great experience one time, not sure we would go back again. 」
