「We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together」

「The Lilac Barn was lovely, exactly as it looks in the pictures, clean & spacious with a wonderful welcome bundle. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a place to stay, just outside the hustle & bustle of the Lakes.」
