"Location beautiful, but the property is tiny for two people. No bedding provided and then overcharged. From time of arrival did not feel comfortable and felt we were being watched. Check in after 12 hour drive took forty minutes, but key things not shown. Do not use!!"

"We had a wonderful stay here with our dog. We were warmly welcomed during check in and the receptionist went out of her way to explain us everything and make sure our dog felt welcome as well. The dog basket, treats and bowls already placed in our room were also such a nice touch! She even was allowed to come with us to breakfast and a table was reserved away from the buffet so other guests weren’t inconvenienced. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Starnberger See."

" Large hotel, we got spacious rooms. The hotel is a bit old but beautiful. Big free parking available. Breakfast is a standard European style. Room cleanliness is decent, and towels are replaced properly. The bar in the lobby is very small and I didn’t really like it. In one of the rooms, there was a clogged shower that caused flooding, and it was only fixed the next day, which was quite unpleasant. "

"Hotel Tonihof is a beautiful, charming, classical Bavarian hotel. The view are stunning. The staff couldn't be more helpful, our room was well equipped and traditional. It's the antithesis of a modern chain hotel, we stayed in 9 hotels in two weeks in Germany and Poland and Tonihof was by far the most memorable."
